  1. I used "Chat" function with princess, he told me will be completed in 3-5 business days. got an email next day, informed me that its completed withing 24 hours. Got extended for one year. Waited 5 days, checked the account, its indeed reflected the new expiration date. Good luck.
  2. Thanks. We sent to SBPCL this morning, no confirmation yet. However, login to princess 2 hours later, the credit is posted for the trip in May. I guess this is done.
  3. we were on board same week (eastern 7 days). our experiences on SKY: 1. New / differences than other Princess cruises from the past There are 4100+ cruisers on board, have 2100+ first time cruisers. :=) less than 400 elite members, so laundry turn around in one day. many many many young adults, kids, some grandparents and babies. pools is busy, kids are having good time; all the hot tubs are full all day, people hung out in hot tub with drinks. We managed got in to hot tub twice during the two port days while ship is empty. Due to weather, we skipped two ports, which is fine for us, we did not plan do any excursions, been there done that, so not problem for us. kids wondering in buffet with swimming suit and bare feet. Young adults wear short short, a lot of legs. did not see walker, maybe a couple of people with canes. In theater many seats reserved by family (also by kids), blocked group seats every night. Mom brought baby to the show, baby started crying , did not see them again after the first night. 2. Good. We ate in the MDR, buffet and IC. food quality is very good with many options. We have first seating in MDR, private table. First night we seated in the back area with 6 private tables. two by the window, 3 near the window all have the water view, except 1 in the corner with no view. It was quite area, we requested the same table same time for the whole week. we just walked right in every night, no wait in the line. waiters got to know us, services were good, the dinner time for us took around 1.5 hours. in around 5.15 out by 6.30. one port day, we were the only one in that area. out of there at 6.10. Waiters are so nice, they even come by to say hi in the buffet when they see us. 3 tables are regulars. We thought singers /dancers are good. just don't care the new spotlight show. enjoyed the "legendinconert" show very much. they did from m.j motown end with earth wind &fire's "September" 3. bad long line on the embarking day, took 45 mins to get through security and to get the medallion. not efficient at all. 4. ugly we I read the comment by SKcruiser "The Guest Services person at the Elite/Suite line was downright surly and had the attitude that anything that was wrong was my fault". I can't agree more than that. That agent does not work with cruisers just tries to send us away. I felt insulted by him. The reason to see them is my room has loud popping / knocking noises from the wall behind the head board. due to high wind noise is constant, did not slept for the first two nights, room crew member knew about it, but nothing he can do, cause its from the wall between two rooms. Agent sent me away said call if you hear it again. third day, called no one picked up the phone, went down talk to evening agent, she opened a ticket, called back 24 hours said carpenter came in worked on it. But problem still there, i think they could not fix it on board. finally got some decent sleep on the last 2 nights with calmer sea. seems related to weather (wind) and ship speed. Don't mind to go back to sky, but stay away from that two rooms for sure. May stay away from holiday time, go after the holidays.
  4. Thanks all. The trips all paid up on first day of booking. This time he sent us the Princess billing statement, added an item "package" and the cost. The transfer is corrected on the the statement. I guess we should hear from Princess to bill us for the new item. If not hear from Princess in a couple of days, I will follow up with Princess. Thanks all again for the supports on this issue.
  5. Correct, Princess would not help us if one booked through TA. They will tell you go talk to your TA. That's why we still have to go through him. He said some other lines allow you to do yourself.
  6. we booked B2B with him a week ago. then booked EZ air with princess next day, sent him an e-mail ask him to add transfer on the last day of the second segment. provided him with our trip booking number, port to airport with flight info. airline, date and time. He returned mail said it was done. He provided us the cost, we did not see any charge from Princess. I am confused too, Princess linked our two reservation on the APP, how did this mistake happens, Is it Princess or Him? I found out the error by accident this morning. I saw Princess Web site indicated our second trip check in is incomplete, so I was doing all means to do the check in, went to trip details doc. found out the transfer to airport was not there, yet airport pick up to ship was there. Almost got another hear attack from these bookings, my husband called him right away, ask him to remove the wrong one and add right one. I was shocked, these booking did not go well, hopefully we fixed all the problems now. I will continue checking the booking on line everyday though. Thanks.

  8. He made a mistake on the transfer. We requested transfer from ship to airport on the 2nd segment; but he did the transfer from airport to port, we are doing B2B, we are already on the ship. So asked him to correct it today. I am wondering do I dare to book with them again? But many people we met on the trip, they book through them, seems no problem. Just our luck, I guess.

  10. Thanks for the tip. The problem is on the APP, I don't see second booking, only shows the first segment, and already checked in and green line. The trip shows from day 1 of the first trip, to last day of the second one. So I can't do check in on the App for second trip. This was first time we use big "on line" travel site. He made so many mistakes, from name, BD, missing used FCD. Seems like he is new to that comp. Manager helped to finalize the booking. He sounds don't like be bothered today. Yes, we fly back to US, and booked the air with EZcheck. Thanks for the reply.
  11. We asked our new TA to add Princess transfer at end of the trip, but he did not mention of any payment. (he questioned whey we don's book it ourself!?). Now, can we pay up when we are on board or have to pay before boarding? In fact we are doing B2B, this is for the second segment. Also it seems can"t do check in for the second segment on the App. Two trips are linked on the APP. It shows from first day to last day of the second one. Bun on the Princess web site, shows "incomplete" for the second trip. Very confused. Is it normal?
  12. Following your trip, just wonderful. Thanks for the report and pictures. Question, does Island Main Dinning Room accept the reservation? Some of the Princess ships do not honer the reservation. We ran into that situation on Sky.
  13. can we swap out soda to bottle water then? One question here, how many elite minibar setup for 2 segments trip? (one booking number). Instead of back to back two bookings. Thanks.
  14. we were on sky in mid-Dec. Booked Cielo every night before the trip. But when we got down there, they did not take reservations, its first come first serve. There was only one line to enter, even though there was a sign says "reservation" entrance. on the way out after first day, we asked for same table same time every day, were told "come at 5:00, first come first serve". Service was great, We sat at at same area every night, (not the same table, cause first come first serve). same waiters every night, same faces around us every night. One couple gone to other dinning room one day, then came back next day, told the waiter Cielo is their dinning room for remaining the trip, cause they like Cielo better.

  16. Agree with "Dog", stay away E deck mid section on Port side for now. We saw 3 rooms were moved out last week on E deck.
  17. We paid $105 for 7 days cruise at port. that's $15 per day. Wondering how do they determine the fee? small car for $15, large car for $19? How do they know what size the car we drive in?
  18. This is one of our favorite shows. We were told on the ship, "on the bayou" only performed on Coral and Island, cause the stage set up, its performed in the lounge not in the theater. We haven't cruised these couple of years, hope will see it again soon. Last time was on Island. Had good time following the band and entertainment crews from lounge to plaza, dancing party after the show. Fun memories.
