When I want to book a balcony I always go with the Caribe forward to get the bigger balconies without the big price of premium.

On my last cruise that stopped at Santa Barbara we rented a car from Enterprise. They picked us up and dropped us back off. They were great!

You can take a bus to Sausalito. Beautiful little town, has gslleries, shops, little restaurants, and a little park.

CDS generally start service at the pier when cruise season begins - but if this is one of the occasional cruises which are much earlier than others (i.e. a gap of a couple of weeks until multiple-cruises-per-week start) they may not be operating. I'd call them and get it straight from the proverbial equine orifice:

Thanks! I sent an email. Waiting for response.

Use CDS baggage at the pier to send your bags on to YVR for you. $40 for the first 4, $10 per extra, and as long as your flights is after 6pm you can use the service. Lack of bags makes it ridiculously simple to take SkyTrain - $1.85 to $4.10pp depending on your age and the day of the week, and the saving compared to a cab (~$35) will pay for the difference in cost for the luggage transfer compared to just storage (at least $5 per bag to store for the day). heck, if there's just 1 or 2 of you it almost pays for the whole thing!
Â
And you NEVER need to be as early as 4 hrs preflight even at peak times - 2 hrs beforehand is more than enough for any but the worse times/days. Given how crappy airline food is I'd be inclined to show up at 4:30pm so you have time for a sit-down dinner after security, but if you can tolerate eating on the plane then 5:30pm is the sensible timeframe. Usually it's under an hour for the whole rigmarole, but it's wise to have some padding in case it's a busy day.
We have a May cruise arriving in Vancouver. Does CDS baggage service operate that early in season?

General Rule of Thumb: the only refundable OBC is OBC you purchased and Veteran's OBC and "courtesy OBC" that you receive from Princess.
On my last cruise I noticed that the OBC was refundable that I received from TA "crucon" . This was like OBCthat you get for booking through them. Was nice surprise because I thought would have to use it up with just buying stuff, but instead got a nice check back in the mail😀😀😀

DH and I got off the Crown Princess last month. Today I was going through various bills and statements and found the "Stateroom Account" which Princess leaves in your mailbox on the night before you disembark. I recalled that we gave the bottom line a quick glance on our way to breakfast that final morning. The refundable credit balance of $14.44 was correct (DH had checked on our account the night before). Today however, wondering when we might receive that credit, I looked on the second page of the statement, which had only a note.... which said:
Â
"Please visit the Passenger Services Desk to collect any refundable credit balance under $25.00 prior to disembarking. Any larger credit balance will be forwarded to you by mail within 4-6 weeks."
Â
Maybe DH and I have not had refunds due us at the end of other Princess cruises (at least, I hope we haven't!). Are we the only ones who were not aware that we had to visit the PSD to collect up our refund - during the "rush hour traffic" of disembarkation? One wonders how much Princess makes due to passengers who are unaware that they must show up in person to receive what is rightfully theirs.
I hope you get your credit. I was on your cruise and also had a refundable credit. First time for me that we ever had any left. Ours was over that amount, and we just got our check last week. I asked at the front desk earlier in the cruise to see if we had to spend it, etc...

Hi: when you sailed on the Crown this summer was the Salty Dog Pub open and was it open for lunch? We're sailing in January and would like to do a lunch reservation there. Thanks.
We sailed on the Crown in October. Went to the Salty Dog one night when we didn't like the MDR options one night. Really enjoyed it. But it was not open for lunch, opened at 5 pm if I recall.

We are at the Bayou for my birthday on the Island Princess. Tried a couple appetizers. They had a great guitar player on our Panama cruise. Different food and fun to try. Really enjoyed it!

We did St. Anne Canyon. From what we saw of Montmorency Falls from the bus as we passed on our way, I thought St. Anne was significantly more scenic. I was completely panicked with the suspension bridge but proudly made it across despite hyperventilating, etc. (of course several children and seniors did without any issue at all [emoji6]). On way there you pass Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, so more inclusive drive.

Thanks much. We are going in October and have decided on the St. Anne Canyon trip. Looking forward to it. We also did book through Viator a bike tour to Montmorency Falls on our day before the cruise!

I don't know about Princess Carribean cruises but we went on a Vancouver 4 night cruise during Spring break. While it was a much younger crowd than usual and more noise than we were used to on Princess it definitely was not a "booze cruise".

That is our first stop from Boston so no customs. I just am not sure. I have done 8 Royal Caribbean cruises but never ran into this. I know people who book their excursions get the tenders but does that mean no one gets off till the people who book excursions with them get off. Doesn't sound right.
Can you tell me who you used for the private tour? Their are 8 or 10 of us so it makes it hard...
Â
Thank you
I booked through "At Your Service Tours"

I originally booked the 4 hour tour and cancelled it. My ship is coming from Nova Scotia and has to go through customs first. I don't have Princess Elite stays to get priority so tour company said not likely to make in time unless I was "very agressive". I booked a private tour instead..

I know it was a long time ago, but my family ate at the Crown Grill on the Ruby Princess in October of 2013.
Â
Was the WORST dinging experience I have ever had with a specialty dining experience on Princess. Took a long, long time to get the server to even acknowledge us at the table, and the food was subpar, and very little attention after that.
Â
Have never had that problem at Sabatinis...

Does anyone know a private tour that goes to Montmorency Falls, Ile d'Orleans and St Anne Canyon?

Is early traditional dining on the Caribbean Princess 5:30 or 6:00?
Â
(We just booked our cruise and picked 5:30. But, I am not sure if that is correct for early traditional seating. Should I change it to 6:00?)
We were on the Caribbean Princess for a Panama Canal cruise this October. We were supposed to have 5:45pm. But when we got on board our time was changed to 5:15. They said that the 5:45 time didn't exist[emoji34] .

Hi- We are booked on a Caribbean Princess Panama Canal cruise and were wondering about a good Cartagena excursion...2 of us have never been there.
Â
Can anyone recommend a Princess excursion in Cartagena?
We did the Highlights of Cartagena and Fortress also and really enjoyed it.

I never did through a private tour. Booked a princess tour instead that they had and we walked up to fortress.

Just gotta love princess. ..lol..i think they "escaped completely" from reality with this idea that no one there at princess seems to know what is really going on. .lol. i have a classic Canada cruise October 2017 and will certainly post an update when i see mine open. .and personalizer still reads at 120 vs the new 180 they claim

I am booked also on your Canada cruise. I sure hope this is just for Alaska cruises. I have way too much OBC credit, and I already have a free beverage package. Besides gratuities wouldnt have much to spend on..
