hands down Oasis Class
-
She will be fine, I am cruising in May I am only slightly worried, I think most of it is under control now
-
lol we saw him in 2015, didn't see him the last few times we were there. This guy doesn't give up, gotta give him credit for never giving up
-
Sorry to hear about that but you did pick your room. Could have picked a more central room. I know when we cruise with older family we pick a room based on location for them.

Symphony of the Seas will be featured on the new season of Mighty Cruise Ships airing this Sunday on the Discovery channel in Canada. Not sure if it’s being aired or has been in the US.

Sailed out of San Juan in 2015 and 2017. Both announcements were in English and Spanish

My last cruise from November 2017 this was on my invoice and my upcoming cruise in May 2019 has this on my invoice YH07 - Club Royale. Does anyone actually know what this means ? Ive seen mixed readings on other posts. Anyone tell me if I am missing something or not. PS I am not a heavy gambler so I am a little confused .
Thanks
PS: Oddly enough my wife won the $500 onboard credit the last two cruises we went on, not sure if that has any bearings. yes you heard that correctly the last two times

I was on a cruise during the Oasis in Feb 2012 during the superbowl and formal night was during the superbowl. I remember I have a picture of me watching part of the game on the Aqua Theatre in a shirt and tie.
I don't think they will change it

there is no way I am carrying a 12 pack of water for a few hours before we are allowed to go to our room. I always get the soda package anyways. I just like having some bottled water for the night time so I don't have to go get something to drink at 2am if I am thirsty

So technically its a 3-4$ gamble still. I never had an issue in the past brining a 12 pcak of water on. I haven't cruised in a year so I am a little track of what rules have changed
-
Good to know. they still have them on the Allure, haven't been on the Allure since 2013. I need my Orange or Peach Zero Fana . Looks like I will get the soda package again

Happened to us our last two cruises as well when we booked that early. you will more than likely get your early dining
-
we stayed a hotel very close to where you were staying in Nov 2017. UBER XL was 23.87

I am looking at one for next for Anthem May 2019 and all the prices have gone up at least 15% since I started to check a few weeks ago. I am going to blame politics, effecting our Canadian dollar
3300$ USD for two Mid Balcony 9 day cruise Anthem in May 2019
-
I notice in other threads there is a lot of hotels people are quoting that are good but some of them are 500$ a night and that is a lot more than I am willing to spend. Any decent pre cruise hotels in Miami that are some what close to the port. Can even be a short cab ride away too I am not too picky. Just not willing to spend over 200$ USD
Will be cruising in May 2019

Cafe Promenade
or room service but that will cost 7.95$
if probably opt for that

No way, I have cruised out of SJ twice and earliest flight I got was 1pm. I would never do a flight before 11am. I don't like feeling rushed after getting off the ship
-
I was on the famous Nov 4-11th 2017 cruise on the anthem and I was told no smoothies as well. So that was only a few weeks ago
-
Very sad prayers for all the families
-
I seen them on the Anthem two weeks ago, also seen a lot of shorts. Nothing was enforced you pretty much can wear whatever you want. I didn't see any swim suits though
-
Sad. I always make it back on the ship one hour before. Learnt from here on here to never trust your cell phone. my cruise in May we had some late guests about 20 mins , there is a video on you tube of people yelling at them it was awesome.

The Quantum class ships have sinks outside the Windjammer and also Solarium Bistro. On all the Anthem cruises I've been on there has been someone standing outside the WJ directing people to the sinks. Most people do wash their hands, but I've seen a few go in and just keep walking. I don't get it, it only takes a minute to wash your hands.
It's because they are lazy and don't care. They think it's my cruise I don't have wash my hands if I don't want too. I've actually heard some me say that to a worker before.
I am always happy to wash and sanitize. 8 cruises and not sick. Knock on wood. My wife and I survived the anthem nov 4-11 out break

I'm 5 for 5 there, but I hope the dock doesn't prompt Royal to put two ships there too often. (Never put to,too and two in once sentence) I was there with Majesty and Soverign in 2007 and I thought the island was a bit crowded. I never went there when Freedom visited. I'll be watching to see how people on an Oasis class enjoy their visit.
I was there on anthem last week it wasn't too crowded. Tendering is a pain

Like others have said if you fall under the elderly and those with underlying conditions. Maybe i would worry i am not too worried yet. a little on edge but , ive been on many cruises and i always wiped down my own cabin and door handles and washed my hands and never dunked my head in the pool and *knock on wood* I never got sick . So i am hoping it will stay that way. already bought some extra travel size wipes for the cruise.
