Back in May in San Juan we still had to fill out the form
-
Yes, we used them both ways, hotel (Residence Inn in Elizabeth) to ship and ship to EWR. I forget which was which but one trip was $65 and the other was $60. Very nice Suburban type vehicle.
That is good to know. We picked the same hotel to stay at pre cruise.
So we must have picked a good one. I had someone say on my roll call that the area is pretty rough. What did you think of it. We plan on walking to the mall and back since it is very close

This is the first time I have taken a cruise where orlando port canaveral
is a port of call. is there anything around the cruise terminal like any shops or malls ? Just trying to figure out what to do all day.
Ill be on the Anthem of the Seas

maybe get the drink package for her. I cant think of too many people who wouldn't like that :)
-
Yes I would walk off with my luggage if that was me. Hope for no delays. The earliest I have ever done was 1255. I did it only because DW doesn't like to be rushed. Long as everything goes smoothly you should be fine

I only buy health insurance. I know my risks going into a trip. Sure it would suck to miss a cruise but luckly it hasn't happened yet. *knock on wood*
I know on my last cruise there was a storm brewing so we edited our flights and left a day early
I know a lot of insurance companies are sketchy so I rather not deal with them at all

I am going to Nassau in November. This is the first time we are actually going to be there for a decent amount of time. until 530pm. I am thinknig about getting tickets to Paradise Island's water park I notice on Royals website it is 200.00 CAD (160.00 USD) and if you book though Atlantis website it is 162.45 CAD (130.00 USD) but you have to get their yourself. I know if there is any issues it is easier to get your money back with royal in case there is a lighting storm or something
Also do you think it is worth the high price ? What are the lines like in November ?

We all have to pay for our mistakes. Learning lesson to double check and triple check you have everything

they didn't do it the last few times but they did in the earlier days. Maybe we missed it. I rather them not do it though. If I wanted to see a show I would go to a dinner theatre

Thanks, that is really something I wanted to avoid. It is 2017, ordering online should be simply, easy and working. Thanks again for the help.

I know on my last cruise they were really pushing the Specialty dining on the Adventure and most nights we walked by Chops was pretty much empty. This cruise we have a good obc credit. I noticed chops is 52$ CAD for one. But I notice the BOGO Specialty is only 32$ CAD. How hard is it to get the time you place you want to eat ? I know the bogo is only good for Day 1 and 2 which is ok with us
Also or will it be cheaper once you are on board ? which is fine for us. what is everyone experience

just noticed this thread this is a good bit of info, worth pushing back up. I just logged in and saw smaller balcony as well, we are booked for a D6

Just wondering what everyone's experience has been using Dial 7. I was looking at using them for taking us to Cape Liberty Cruise Port from International Blvd area
-
That is good to know. Anyone know the cost to use this. I went to book it online and its closed for my booking and says to book onboard the ship
-
Ending up booking post cruise transfers with the cruise line. cost me 38$ Canadian Dollars per person. Comes to about 30$ USD
-
I had some problems last night we just ended up getting annoyed and called one of the agents on the phone.

Cashed out 100,000 coins for a 250 obc. Worked out very well along with the other promos

I did notice it on my last cruise on the Adventure in May. When it come to food I am normally not too hard to please but I have noticed a slight decline.
-
It should be about $28/pp. Does better mean cheaper?
28$ pp isn't to bad. price doesn't matter long as its reasonable. that is probably the most I would want to pay anyways. Just never cruised out of NJ before. so not sure of what all the prices are. I just read a lot of horror stories with cabs . I know in FLL and SJU where I cruised out of many times the cabs are the best way

I was looking after the cruise, I would like to know what the shuttle costs for Royal Caribbean to take us back to the airport (EWR) after the cruise, What is the cost and is there a better option ?
-
Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean offers shuttle service from the cruise port back to the airport after the cruise ? how much is that and where can you sign up for that one ? My flight is not until 3. so I am not too concerned on time
-
Country Inn & Suites in Elizabeth has a cruise package whith airport and cruise port shuttle.
I don't know if that's the "best" hotel. I would also ask this on the East Coast Departures forum for other ideas:
Thanks bob I was hoping you where going to reply.
Can I bring a case of water on the Oasis?
in Royal Caribbean International

I did bring a case of 12 water on my last 4 cruises and not once *knock on wood* did they take it away from me. I just put it in a bag with handles and it always showed up.
