Thanks for all your replies we might enjoy a few hours without big sister and I think they will enjoy the excitement of exploring the ship on their first cruise. So decisions made.

We are going to Alaska with my sister and her husband Sept 10. Is it possible to get on board at the same time? Will we be required to wait till they have been cleared. Or should we just say “see you later on the lido sister. Any chance we’re going to get on together or will they be held back?

Does anyone know where the self serve laundry is located on Carnival Spirit? I was told that they are available but have been unable to find them on the deck plans.

Thanks everyone for your input. After testing twice my wife and I decided it was not worth risking the health of those around us to not be truthful when answering the health questionnaire. Truthfully, I was in no position to travel as I was quite sick. So here is our situation as it stands now ….. we have now returned home, called Celebrity, and we were asked to provide documentation of our Covid tests, which we have done. And after discussion with one Agent, we were told a fFCC could be issued. The second individual we spoke to indicated that that request would have to be approved by an Executive, and it may not be for the full amount. At this point we are at peace with our decision and only hope things work out for us.

So now we have Covid what is Celebrity policy?😵‍💫

Does anyone know if you can still order a bottle of Canadian club or crown Royal to your cabin? Going to Alaska in September and would like to order something but not sure How.

We are looking at Celebrity Edge from Vancouver Sept 2024. What appealed to us with this cruise is the 2 days in every port. If prices are rising that fast maybe we should quit messing around and make a decision and live with it. Thanks for everyones help.

Has anyone booked a future cruise while on board? We are going to be on summit this October and are thinking of doing Hawaii on Edge next September and wondered if there is any advantage to wait to book then?

We recently had to cancel our Alaskan cruise on the Solstice leaving May 3. We called January 30, in the evening, to request the cancellation and figure out what happens with our no-refundable deposit. We had already paid for the cruise in full so we were afraid that it might take some time for our credit card to be credited. Today, February 3 when we checked our credit card, the entire balance was returned to us. We expect the future cruise credit to reach us by email in the next month or so. We found this service exceptional given the lengthy waits we experienced during Covid.

Yup it’s a 12 day cruise. Might just have to get something locally or drink wine for the trip.

We are sailing on Pride Aug 20/2023 out of Dover and today tried to order a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey for delivery to our room but was told Carnival didn't have any? Does anyone have a email address for the Fun Shops I just can't bring myself to believe this to be true. Thanks
