Will they charge our sign and sail card for a tip each time our kids get a coke with their card or is there a 15% added to the cost of the total bubbles package?
The tip is added at the time you purchase the bottomless bubbles sticker. There are no more charges when using it.

Online I saw that the grey line has hop on hop off busses in Miami so I am now thinking that if I buy 48 hour passes for this I won't need to rent a car. Does that sound right?

This might be of help as well...
Thanks. Good article.

For something different, we went to Vizcaya (see link below) Check your hotel for discount coupons as well.

If you are a baseball fan, you can book park tours for the new Marlins Park.

Thanks. Coral Gables sounds like a possibility.

South beach is expensive and over rated. Been there, done that. Although you don't really say what you're interested in?
Just seeing any sights. I am 59 and mostly disabled. I walk with a cane and pain. Some years ago before I was disabled, we flew into Ft. Lauderdale and drove to Key West. We stopped along the way at a memorial for the victims of a hurricane and spent a week walking around Key West. So, any interesting or historical sights. I suppose we will drive up Ocean in Miami Beach and maybe eat there. Other than that, I am looking to this thread to provide suggestions.

Leave Miami and go to Miami Beach -- that is the "Miami" you see in the movies and TV shows. Great dining, nightlife, beach, art galleries, people watching, etc. You do not need a car if you stay in South Beach. :)
I did not know any better, so I am already booked into the Intercontinental Hotel.

I will be renting a car and spending an extra day in Miami after my cruise on the Carnival Glory. What should I see and do while I am there?

A doctor took out my damaged spleen 4 years ago, so I have to avoid getting sick. In 4 years I have not gotten sick at all. Just wash your hands often and use tissues, napkins, tp, etc. to open doors or touch things others may have touched before you and you will be fine.

Condolences to John. Losing your father is a wound that will not heal. My father passed away December 30, 1986. I still miss him.

I have never been to a port and stayed on the ship. If one is available, I will always take a tour of the island or area to absorb some of the local history and facts and try to see how the locals live. That being said, I have had quite enough of the western Caribbean.

We're going to be in a Cove Balcony- what are people's thoughts on those?
We're excited for our cruise! Please keep the info coming!
I loved the cove balcony on the Dream. The sound of the sea rushing past was wonderful.
Buffet queue jumping on carnival, is it rude?
