Singapore Embarkation.  We have an evening flight, Business Class Etihad airline. We are D2D and our documentation indicates a excursion after embarkation dropping us off at airport. Does anyone have any experience what this maybe as i wouldn't like to duplicate by doing something similar  whilst we are there. Also any useful information about transiting Changi airport and business lounge etc.

the simplest of tips , use the official indian web site:  e-Visa (indianvisaonline.gov.in).

very simple process fill in form, upload image of passport and a photo and  pays your money.

when received print off. need to take hard copy with you for immigration at Indian airport

be warned several "agency" web sites will charge you an extra fee on web,

been a while since i cruised,  is wifi worth bothering with? how good is the complimentary wifi or do you need to purchase the premium product to have anything passing useful 

cruising in feb on the silver moon, quick question. is the sauna and steam room a payable service or a freebie and how do you book a time slot

Almost certainly doing your own transfer will be cheaper , plus it will be at your convenience.

Thank you for all the valuable information. We will have a 80 mile trip to Heathrow in February  2024. My understanding  will have to pay a fairly large excess charge (approx GBP90 per each journey) the option of a refund still would not cover the costs  if we arrange separately.  Whilst i understand the disappointment with ss approach ...my question is . what is the Backlane experience, how good or bad are they?
