  1. We came back from our D2 cruise earlier this month and completely disagree standards have slipped in fact it was the best cruise we have done with Marella it was fabulous! Never thought I would say that as previously (5 cruises) the food has always been sub standard but I can truly say it was 100% better this time, the only meal we didn’t enjoy was the first night in the buffet. We had no choice but to eat in there as we didn’t board till 10pm it was not good to say the least oh no we thought here we go! How wrong could we be. After that we ate in the main dining room, glass house and surf and turf for dinner, main dining room islands for breakfast and glass house, islands for lunch really good didn’t have a bad meal. Service top notch. The entertainment was so good we had the best time

  3. We did a private excursion (with another couple organised from this board) to ancient Olympia it was well worth it (imho)

  5. Hi Rebel Rouser. No it had a red exclamation mark but when i went to complete the boarding pass despite the red mark still being there it had all information completed 😥still cant get the verification code for the parking. I will never do it through them again i thought it would save me a bit of hassle but it has caused me more. I went to the TUI store but couldnt wait i was on my lunch hour. Last hurdle now.... the chronomics test tommorrow fingers crossed!

The website keeps sending me round in circles. Also i have booked airport parking and when i click the link for verification code it says "booking not found" I am currently on hold for an advisor but am 48 in the queue. The wait time for live chat is also nearly 2 hours. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance

  9. I hear what you say about the ho ho but the little train is really worth doing it goes down the coast past a fascinating cemetery (I know but it really is amazing) and ends in a lovely place where you can buy ice cream it’s a beautiful town I’m sure you will enjoy

If you want to go into Palma itself there is a bus stop in the terminal which takes you to the bus station at the top of the town centre, the cathedral is at the bottom and everything you could possibly want in between. It’s a beautiful city. Sorry can’t help with Marseille
  11. It does have an overview of every port of call on Marella website but if you go to ports of call on this website you will find everything you need to know and the people are so helpful
  12. I don’t know the answer to your question it must be a common problem though so my thoughts are if you post the question on a much busier group such as ncl or p&o surely someone would be able to help?
  13. Friend was flying mcr to Palma yest for the Mediterranean medley cruise the flight was delayed 3 hours

I have travel insurance with my bank account (NatWest) and was told by my bank advisor that as it does not have covid cover nor specific cruise cover it was insufficient so I have taken another policy through the post office for less than £100 annual couples cover with covid and cruise even if the bank advisor is wrong for that kind of money and what is going on at the airports at the moment it simply wasn’t worth the stress to me

  17. Thank you I’ve done the same. Hope to see you on board! We are flying from Leeds/Bradford as though we live 15 mins from Mcr the flight was so early in the AM I couldn’t face it. Just hope made the right decision with the airport chaos as it is!!
  18. If you are due here with Marella they put a transfer shuttle on into the town. It is not a tender port. There is nothing at all in the marina area apart from a nice beach

  20. We have just booked Discovery 2 for the 14.6.22 as the price was too good to miss. Marella info is still saying we need a negative lft can anyone help me with what is necessary for boarding? Much appreciated
