I have read in some reviews this wi-fi is very spotty and doesn't work well unless you are close to the bulding where it is purchased. Any experiences??

Thanks so much for your review!! I am anal and a planner, for budgetting purposes, can you tell me about what the wi-fi costs were at the beaches?
Thanks!

It is obviously important to others as evidenced by the number of threads. If you wish to discuss what is important to you feel free to start a thread of your own. The subject is clearly stated in the title of the thread, so if you are not interested, just move on.
Agreed! Why would anyone even open the thread and then take the time to comment on it, if tired of them???? Just skip it..... And contrary to popular belief, just because there may be other threads, it has been my experience that the "searches" often don't turn up what you are looking for. If I see threads that don't interest me, I just move along......

. For dessert (again asking for the waiter suggestions) we had the warm chocolate flourless cake served with ice cream The cake was good not great.
REALLY? For $49.00 I would expect more for dessert than what is served most every might on CCL and RCCL for free! rolleyes:
Thanks, now I know to scratch this one off the list!

All the mass cruise lines have all sorts of extra charges and as many have said, these are optional. I for one can attest to being able to enjoy a cruise without using any of them. I can only assume they must work however, for the cruiselines to continue with them. They are options and obviously, a number of people choose to use them. As long as there are options for people like me, who do not need specialty restaurants, cupcakes, specialty coffees, etc., I will be happy!:)

received this email reply today and states where corkage fees will apply. I believe all lines charge a corkage fee as well.
Thank you for your email.
Beginning November 1, 2012 guests wishing to bring personal wine onboard with them on embarkation day of the cruise may do so, limited to two bottles (of 750ml) per stateroom, but when consumed in any shipboard restaurant, bar or dining venue, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00.

Wow, that was one of the best reviews I have ever read. I just wish you had done the Eastern ports, it would have made it better for me! I'll be printing out your review to take with me or put it on my kindle. Thanks.
I agree, great review and even though we will be on eastern, can still glean many things from your review!:)

being born in the south, I was taught to accept any gift graciously and thank the giver, no matter what. A gift is just that, a gift. If I receive any gift I cannot use, I give it away, donate to silent auctions, etc. I would never complain about it nor do anything to hurt the feelings of the giver.
In RCCL's case, they just cannot win in a case like this. Can't please everyone. I'm sure there are those making decisions that would like to do away it all together for this very reason!

Not too smart to be in limited demand if they are popular, more money for Carnival!

Sounds like they need to beef it up!
