  1. We just got off Navigator yesterday.  Department heads put in their wish lists two weeks ago, but haven't gotten results yet.  They are going to Singapore for 6 weeks.  Different opinions if they will have any passengers on board.  The crew members we talked to were pretty excited about the journey.

We earned more credits, not sure if going Jan, Feb or May.  Already booked for this Sept.

  2. I have the same issue with swollen legs/feet.  Found a CC thread Cruise Ankles.  It was long but offered lots of ideas.  My favorite was tracing the alphabet with your feet.  I've tried it and it helped a lot.  Looks silly and if you've imbibed too much you won't be able to keep track, May need to start over!

Everyone have fun.  Will follow along and c

Dream about our next one in May.

Last night as I was attempting to fall asleep but found it difficult with the anticipation of the “snow storm” but more importantly.  “THE BELLA CRUISE”. I had an idea of something I have often seen and personally experienced while cruising.

Now the medical term is; OEDEMA.

But cruisers know it as; CANKLES.

    Yup, swollen ankles.

In the past we have also  had the opportunity to view others who suffer from this malady.

Now causes can vary and are not limited to just a few.
    Namely:

-consumption of mass quantities of salty food

-lack of exercise due to consumption of mass quantities of alcohol, causing one to be stationary, and or inability to walk or even to consume mass quantities of salty  food which a sober person may not do.

So here-in pictured posted is the pre-cruise/travel baseline of my feet with ankles easily visualized.

As time goes on, updates will be presented.

These two feet will be a necessary attribute to my reporting during this cruise as well as getting me wherever I need to go.

For example. The track. We are hoping to continue to walk at least once a day and get our steps in.

    Ok Enough about feet.

(But isn’t that a pretty nail polish  color).

More exciting topics to be presented and not limited too.
    Posting cruise compass (😜).

    Chair Hogs

    Tips,  not typsy

    Promenade sales

    Food porn

    Too name a few.

    That’s all for now.

  4. We sailed Navigator in January,  we secured an OS the week prior.  No email before, but there were personalized letters from both the Diamond Lounge and Suite lounge concierges.  Francisco was in the Suite lounge and helped us with dinner reservations and a few guest service issues.  He was heading home end of January and hoped to return by May (our next cruise).  Norman was in Diamond Lounge and was also very helpful, esp getting off in port.  We had travelling friends in a GS.  They did get an email about a week prior, probably a timing issue.   Either way, they both took great care of all 5 of us

  5. Our Uber could not even get close to terminal,  dropped us a few blocks away.  Lines of hundreds everywhere.  Heard it will be 7 or 8before they even open the doors.  Found a little restaurant Splitsville that has open tables.  Here we are with our luggage.  What a nighmare.

  6. We've been on Brilliance once before and Radiance class 4 times.  We will be on her the 26th with cruisinnole.  We've done 2 On Navigator this year. We've never done bigger than Voyager lass.  It will be interesting to be back on Brilliance.  We love the smaller ships.  This one is a B2B, our first.  Probably back to Navigator next year because of location.

  7. We usually tip when we meet.  We ask for feather pillows and extra towels, etc.  Depending on how things go we tip again at the end in addition to our tips per day.  We take care of our specialty dining staff, esp if we get wine.  If the concierge service is great, they get a tip too.  The last concierge was just so/so.  Smaller tip.  The last dining room servers were not very good so just got the daily recommendations.  We also left ur room steward a bottle of Rose that the casino have us on the last day.  He was pretty grateful for that the day We were leaving.  I hear they share them with the other crew.  Living on a ship for months needs some positive reinforcement.  ☺☺
