Forgot to mention... it is about 1 mile to the beach. We walked it. However, if you want to eat towards beach place then it's much further... 2.5 miles. The tortogua music festival was located on the beach and a taxi would have been super expensive so we walked both ways...

Currently staying at the Hyatt pier 66. I booked via hotwire. Checked in on Sunday morning. It was very busy with people checking in and out at 9:30am. I didn't request a tower room and received a room overlooking the pool before noon. We lucked out getting in early. I have to say that it's perfect. Large, 2 double beds, balcony, it's perfect. Do not believe all the bad reviews. I would stay here again without any worries. I'm sure the tower rooms are nice but I would actually prefer to stay out here in the 2 story building by the pool.

Thank you! I'm boarding the conquest today with 2 crabby teenage daughters. On who doesn't want to go at all... should have left her home. The other is excited but tired lol

I'm staying there on 4/12 post cruise. I booked via hotwire. Total $150.00 I'm pretty open minded so hopefully we can overlook the "old" that many people talk about.

I will be sailing out on the conquest 4/4 as well. If you wanted to watch the ships sail without food and drink, you can walk down the beach to the jetty rocky area where the ships sail out the channel. I've done it before & enjoyed it. Planning on doing it again post cruise.

Thanks for the review! Super excited to sail her 4/4/15!

Thank you! I'm sailing on her 4/4/15! Can't wait!

Have a great cruise... I will be boarding on Saturday when sadly you'll be disembarking.

We've booked at 11 am flight out in a few prior cruises and didn't have any issues. Self disembark & your off quickly, grab a taxi. This works as long as there are no delays. I wouldn't hesitate to book a flight at 11:30am. Sure beats waiting around all day.

Ok thanks! I know they were less expensive when you purchased the program. Guess I will find out in less than 2 weeks

Sailing out on the Conquest in 2 weeks on April 4th! Can't wait to see your pics! Did you enjoy it?

We have brought our cups to reuse as well. However, if you getting the Bottomless bubbles can't you purchase the cup for $3.00? Anyone know how much they are? If your not purchasing the Bottomless Bubble you can still purchase the cups but I'm wondering how much they are?
Anyone have any ideas?

Cabin 1224 (Deck 1 Forward [emoji20][emoji20][emoji20]) assigned on 3/16/15
I feel your pain. In 19 cruises, i've never been assigned to Deck 1. That's what I got... Oh well. Better to have a room then none at all!!

Hello,
I while back someone posted a great walking map from the Hyatt Pier 66 to the Jetties where you can watch the ships sail. I thought I screen shot it & saved it but of course I cannot locate it anywhere!! Anyone have an idea or if the person who posted could respond with the link that would be awesome!
I've been to the jetties before so I know how to get there. I just wanted to print the map out.
TIA
:)

Hello,
Receive my cabin assignment today 3/6/15. Kinda disappointed.
Booked: Jan 2015
Sailing: April 4th, 2015
Ship: Carnival Conquest
Booked: Super Saver Rate
Inside Guarantee
Assigned: 4(b) Cabin 1318
It's a quad room with Upper Bunks for my DH & I, and two teenage girls.
I missed out on an up sell email 2 weeks ago. I called within 45 minutes of receiving it. The offer was no longer available. However, they could offer me a 4© room. I said no thank you.
Oh well... I should be grateful that i'm sailing!!! I am!! I am!!
Good luck to each & everyone one of you.

HI,
I booked my family of 4 flights from Ohare to PBI. Prime flying week for spring break April 3. Flights were $222.00 pp compared to well over $400.00 pp. I extended my stay so we are flying home 2 days post cruise. I figured I would rather stay longer for about the same price as flying into FLL. You can find inexpensive car rentals from PBI to FLL as well. Just google coupon codes & keep checking prices for price drops. With car rentals, you don't have to prepay so you can keep changing it.

Hello,
I actually booked a private tour with Bernard. That way we can decided how long we want to stop at each place & only have our group to deal with. It's about $15.00 pp more than tour #2. We will be on tour the first full week in April.
Just thought I would throw that one out there....
Happy Sailing.

Is this for android phones also? Can I get it from playstore? Does Carnival Magic have this? I am going on Magic in a couple weeks. This would be great compared to paying for the over priced internet service.
It's available in the playstore. Download it prior to boarding the ship. I'm not sure if the magic has it yet? I'm sure someone else can answer that.

Has anyone booked an inside guarantee and not been able to change the bedding configuration until after a cabin has been assigned? I booked on the Valor in May and for some reason on the Carnival website it will not allow me to change the bedding from 2 twins. I don't have a cabin assigned yet, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it?
Carnival sets all the rooms up with 2 twin beds, once they know who their guest are then they will put those 2 twin bed together and make a king bed. There are a few rooks that can't do this but not many.

Bernard Tour 1 or 2 Differences question

Hello, we toured last week. I would highly recommend the private tour. 8 of us in a mini van. Our Guide Was Very Nice And told us about the whole island. We took off from the port area and drove to the French side first. We stopped twice. Once was to see some sea creatures and the other was to see wild iguanas. Then we went to orient beach. We stayed about 45 min. Then went to marigot. (Not really that impressed). We went to the market area and a french bakery. While it was cool, I don't feel like we would return there. We then went to maho beach to watch the planes come in. That was cool. So I would recommend going on the private tour and stopping at orient & maho beaches. Have a great cruise
