  1. We have an 18 day cruise booked for Dec 1 2021.  I wish they would extend final payment for the cruises the rest of this year since we lose money if we cancel less than 6 months in advance.  We really want to take this cruise but pushing us into making a payment decision so early may force us to cancel.  If final payment was 60 days before hopefully we wont have to cancel.

  2. One of the major plus for Oceania in the past was eating in the dining room at lunch.  Over the last few cruises the dining room was only open for a day or two for lunch in Europe.   We were very disappointed.  We are doing another Oceania cruise in January on the Sirena and hopefully the dining room will be open for lunch.

  3. Thank you for your update. We are thinking about using Oceania Transfer since they are handling our air and telling us to contact them if we run into a delay and they will take care of it with no cost to us. I will discuss with them what the best way to get to the airport quickly once on the ship if not I may arrange for a 7:00 am transfer privately since flight is 10:40. We will be arriving on a Wednesday. Hopefully, it all works out.

  4. Oceania included air provided a flight at 10:40 a.m. When I called to inquire if we had time to make it they informed me that anytime after 10:00 a.m. is sufficient telling me the ship arrives at 5:00 a.m. I'm nervous but they are telling me not to worry. I have their emergency phone number on hand. Since we have a direct flight from Rome to Miami we will see how it goes. If it works out it will be an easy trip back with no stopover. We leave in a few weeks.

  5. We've used their air on 3 different Oceania cruises. We've left from Miami and have been satisfied with the included air. The air schedules they have arranged for us would have been expensive if we booked on our own since they have involved mostly direct flights. Our latest cruise is Barcelona to Rome and they gave us a very tight schedule. They tell me we have enough time to make all flights. If we don't miss our flights we will be happy since our return trip is nonstop leaving early from Rome and getting back to Miami at a decent hour. Going to Barcelona from Miami

is through Atlanta and then direct flight to Barcelona without having to stop somewhere else in Europe and arriving 8:00 in the morning giving us plenty of time to make the departure of the ship.

  6. Thanks for all the helpful responses. I saw where Oceania stated they will help and rebook at no cost to us if we can't make the flight so I decided they must know what they are doing and not to worry about it. Love cruise critic and all the caring members that are willing to provide advice.

  7. We just received our air schedule for a July 20 ending cruise in Rome cruise with an Oceania included flight at 10:40. Am. When I called Oceania they told me the ship docks 5 am and we should not have any trouble making the flight. I'm planning on using Oceania transfers hoping that gets us off the ship as early as possible. Has anyone used Oceania transfer for the Rome airport and does anyone know if Oceania rebooks a later flight if we don't make it in time?

  8. We were on the Riveria last May from Quebec to London and the virus was also present. They closed the laundry rooms and tried to get rid of the virus. It impacted our enjoyment of the cruise but we have booked the Riveria again this summer hoping that we don't run into similar problems. We like Oceania cruises very much compared to other cruise lines we have sailed.

  9. Thanks everyone for your help. I realize air is built into the price but in our case for the cruise we are taking what Oceania built in is a lot cheaper than doing on our own. For this Itinary we don't need to extend the trip,so it works for us.
