Got to purchase Dr. Suess Green egg's and Ham today. Off the hook as i have been telling the grand kids about it and could not make a reservation untill this morning. 59 Days to go

I just did it, also. Unfortunately, only Monday the 26th was available . So on our last sea day, we get to have some Green Eggs before going back to the home of Dr. Suess.

I have had the same issue on my Venezia sailing in June 2023. Have put it out to others on Venezia and every sailing comes back sold out. Now may not have opened up yet but still keep trying. I have seen the display for the green eggs and ham breakfast on many a sailing. One of first things i go after on my sailing. good Luck

We are on the same ship issue. They have to let us MASS folks enjoy our breakfast, we are home to this. 😆

No, definitely no infinity pool in the Mardi Gras Havana area.   You are thinking about the infinity pool in  Loft 19.

I was on this sailing with you, we had a cabin on deck above 14 above the pool. I notice it was down must of the cruise and watched them working on it all week.

I'm sailing on Royal on May 31st...when were they going to tell us abou this??? If I was not on cruisecritic I would have NEVER heard about this!

Only reason I heard of it was because John H from Carnival made a live about it explaining this to all their cruiser going to Canada before the season started.  Then I searched Royal and found it, but like other said I'm sure Royal will send an important notice a week before we sail.

My PVP mentioned that if some of the OBC was from fully paying for a cancelled cruise, some of THAT was a special kind of FCC/OBC hybrid that could be transferred to another booking.  It wasn't applicable to any of ours so I didn't have him explain it fully.

That is what our is/was we had 5 cruises CXL/rescheduled between 2020-2021 that where fully paid.

  7. I was lucky enough to sail the Splendor before it left to Australia. I have to say love the ship because how different it is, and if your a big Spa person it has some extra thing you only find on the Dream class.  I would pick splendor just for that if I was doing Alaska cruise this year. Get a Private SPA treatment room while the teens are playing.

I think youre right. We just got our exemption for our toddler 80 days out so that would make sense about them pre-exempting.

Just curious what makes you say the bubble tours are "slime"? We were just on the magic and did two bubble tours which we loved. Our 2 year old had blast on both of them.

On our schedule cruise, there is only offer a beach getaway on a resort and a swim with dolphins. it honestly two things my wife and dislike.  Sorry we love the beach and we will probably do this on one of the ports. but not the others, and yes we understand take what you can get. It just isn't us.

You would be taking an exemption from another family should you "no show" her.

that is a bigger issue, we don't want to this but we also don't want to cxl her yet just incase something changes in the next month or so. Trust me, as a person who loves cruising and recommends this as a go to vacation for families I don't want to take anyones space.

  10. Sorry for bumping up an old post, but I like to search before making a new post.

Anyhow anyone know how this process is going now in 2021. We will be cruising in 2022 with our daughter who is 2. She did get an exemption but do to the limit bubble tours and not able to even walk around the port we may not bring her. Still debating if I just no a no show with her or call my PVP on this one. Thanks and sorry for bring up the past post.

I also don't want to take a spot for someone else who is trying to get exemption, we just don't know if we take her and just enjoy the ship.

Surely by then, they will do away with all the bubble tours as covid cases drop and most kids are vaccinated.  I would expect they would do away with regulations for kids under 5 by then.  Does anyone else think so?

I sure hope so, although I hope it would go away for Feb.  It's debate to bring our 2 year old or leave her with her grandma.

  12. My cruise isn't until Feb 2022 but did get my exemption approved for our 2 year old daughter. You have to really pay attention to the letter and doing ASAP.  It is a higher rate of approve now that 5-12 now need the vaccine. They only thing as other have said, only way of the ship is on a bubble tour. Those are slime, this is the only thing that may stop us from bringing her.   Also call your PVP so they can put a note in the system.

  13. We are spa cabin cruisers, the only real welcoming is your tour where they try getting you to buy things.  One tip is to get to know the Spa Manger, you can get some good deals. Remember the Spa is not run by Carnival but Steiner. I have got extra things or even get the private terminal room at a good price or even free.
