    Hi Soren ,

I am also a non UK citizen. I use a well known specialist cruise agent in the UK to book my P/Ó cruises. If you use Google you should be able to find them. I am not allowed to give you their name due to the rules of forum.

You can book fully on line, view the available packages and look at availability of cabins. I pay with either my non-UK visa/debit card (in euros).

I have been using this company for about 6 years now and find them very reliable.

They also offer additional services like airfare, transfers and excursions.

So you should be able to find something on line.

Thanks very much for the advice, but I still think it´s ridiculous that P & O excludes foreigners from their webpage...... we are in year 2019 after all.

  2. I think it´s weird that P & O don't allow foreigners buy Cruises online... P & O customers service (Lucy) said it was a currency issue?? ... but with Rccl, Celebrity and Carnival are there no problem with my danish master or visa credit card or currency issues??

For me it is more Convenient due to language issues to shop online, so I must shop elsewhere... with Rccl or other companies.

Why lose customers because of currency matters?? I think it is bad business.

    Best regards

(Don´t mind my spelling i am danish)

Tap water and ice is only a big thing in  America. Most European countries do very little to no ice and drink bottled water.  MSC has a large european segment that they cater too and Europeans are used to paying for water when they eat.  To try and cater to Americans, MSC provides free bottled water in the dining room.  You only need to book thru an American agent or the American MSC site to get the free bottled water.  They will bring out additional bottles as you use them up.  You may need to ask though.  We had no issue with this.

Let me get it right? If you are american the water is free? but not if you are Danish,  Swedish or German etc.....

It is the same coming from central europe to the US: why is tipping mandantory? for us it is standard that every person gets their full salary from their employer 😉

But if you booked though US, I think you should have water in the dining room included on MSC

(but yes, I like the availability of tap water in the US and on american cruise lines… would be nice if we can get this also in europe…)

I always buy a drink package but I think this water issue is the most crazy thing i have ever heard, why get bad reviews because of missing water?? maybe its me but I think this is bad or stupid business 😄

No it was not on the table.   I missed the ice water a lot.   Ice water is hard to come by in Italy and on the ship.    Actually, I think if you asked your server for ice, they would bring it.   Then you can pour your bottled water in it.   At least for the kid's sodas we asked for ice and they brought it.

    Have fun....

We have been on 8 cruises.... No water on the table??? I am shocked??? Why not?? Did you asked?

  6. This behavior with overbooking and bumping their customers is cruel and unacceptable. It must be voluntary, i would NEVER cruise again with Celebrity if they forced me out or changed my cruise.

After reading this thread i am nervous it could happen to us in december.

    Kryds.

  7. That is correct , you do not have to eat in the speciality restaurants in the first evening. Just tell them this when you board the ship. There are stations outside all the speciality restaurants and also the buffet restaurant . Just say you would like to eat in the MD first night and have ready when you want to eat in the speciality restaurants

  8. Hey Guys

We are newbies at Celebrity (Reflection)

We would order a 6 night Speciality dining package on cruise planner, but we are forced to select day one for dinner in specialty restaurant? Day one was fixed, only the time schedule was open for choices.

We prefer to eat in the main dining restaurant the first evening.

Should we wait and order the package on the ship instead or do we have other options?

From Denmark so don't mind the spelling :)

  9. Hey Guys

we are newbies on Celebrity... The webshop is acting very weird, we tried to order Champagne and strawberry but it told us that we must wait for 20 minutes.... we have tried this with different browsers but with the same result.... is this normal?

  10. I have conquered the internet on celebrity.

first: corners are almost always an issue.

second: busy is often a login issue. that means the on board server/router needs to

be rebooted due to memory fragmentation. try a different location where there is

a different antenna and therefore router.

third: off hours sometimes better but crew usage then competes.

fourth: speed degrades based on the transfer size, pictures can cost serious speed

    reduction.

    fifth: logout and login frequently.

    These work on all ships.

if you master the above then you can achieve dazzling speed.

I would regularly transfer 15MB files in less than 1 minute. nearly every day.

on transatlantics(5 time), transpacific, Alaska, Hawaii(5 times) and more

both M and S class. just about sailed them all.

Thanks we will use the advice... :)

  11. Did you book direct with Celebrity, if so ring them and see if they can put you on your choice of time on traditional dining, this worked for us. I work on the basis that if you don't ask you don't get. If you used a travel agent get them to try to organise this for you, after all it is their job to help get you the holiday you want.

If the above doesn't work then as MightyMike and cb at sea have said get on the waitlist and if all else fails, try to get it changed when you board.

    Good luck.
