YES!! I have been waiting for a review of this itinerary from someone that has been there recently. Great writing!!

Same here!

I like the cooler with the bottled water set. But they will need to go to one of the bars and ask for a plastic bucket filled with ice. This bucket fits nice and snug into the cooler so there will be no leaks. (unless you turn it over)

Royal Palms. :)
Just to go to the Royal Palms and not do the AI package, do you have to make a reservation or just get in a van and go? Also, does it get crowded or is there plenty of room?

Agree with what everyone has said about the cabanas. We had cabana #4 in January. I would definitely book again. It was not that crowed when we were there and had no issues with people trying to come into the area. I only had two complaints. Our cabana had a BAD mildew smell. We only used the inside to lock up our belongings while on the beach. The other is, watch your bill!! The total at the bottom did not add up to each item listed and there was no explanation on the bill. When we asked about this, our waiter told us he added the tip in the total. It went from $96 to $126! But that goes for anything when you are traveling, watch your money. I guess they think when you have had a few drinks you wont notice and pay your bill and then leave a cash tip.

Our room on Sunshine, smaller one, had no signs about closing the blinds at night. I had also read the comments on this. Also our room steward did not say anything to us about this. We did leave them open at night with the TV going and a small lamp light and nothing was said. However, we did close them if all the lights were on and we were moving around the room.

I also have a Jan. 2015 cruise with no excursions showing. Emailed Carnival Shore excursions and their reply was they would show up in April.

My husband will be glad to hear about the rocking, lol, he really likes the motion. It will be an adventure for us for sure! Do you have pictures of your room? Which one were you in? Was there access to an outside deck near you?
Thanks!!!:D
LOL, I am sure you will like the room. My husband loved the location as it was on the Lido deck. Walked out of the room and down the hall and you were at the lido pool and bars! Very easy to find you way back home late at night!! To get to other outside areas you either had to go up or down.

We had one in January on Sunshine. LOVED the view! The pictures do not do the room justice. However, for me, it was a little rocky. Others may like the motion but I did not. There was also a mild constant vibration within the room but that may just be Sunshine. Overall I did like the room and the view was fantastic, I just would not pick it again. But glad I tried it.

Same for me with a January 2015 cruise. I called Carnival and they told me to send Shore Excursions an e-mail. That was on Monday and they have not responded. I did think it was my computer at first and tried on another. Same result - no excursions! I also like to plan and would love to see the excursions now!!

We also ate at JiJi every morning. They fix omelets to order. Also ate there for lunch a couple of times. Very good. They were strictly enforcing the 40 minute saving of the sun chair rule. Serenity area is very nice, just too many people for the area. At least on my cruise.

We were on the same cruise and had to learn how to hit the flush button just right to get a flush. LOL. It usually took several hits. We also smelled the sewage smell, usually forward ship. We had a forward room and there was a constant vibration and when a strong wind is coming in from either side, this ship rocks. And not in a good way. We did have a wonderful time, will just go with a larger ship next time.

This is my Carnival Shore Excursion e-mail response on 4/24/14 that I received:
Hi,
Rest assured the securing of allocation process has already started, but 2015 shore excursions (including FttF) have not yet started to get released online. This is a current work in progress, and you should start seeing availability (depending on the port and the particular sailing(s)) for 2015 sailings starting in May onwards.
Please feel free to check back then.
