  1. The water park's website states cameras are no longer allowed, not even underwater. I have also called the Customer Service phone number as well, and was told no cameras allowed. But I have this excursion booked for February 7th and I could verify when I'm there, if that isn't too late for you?

Our cruise is actually leaving on Feb 15th so that would be perfect timing! I'm assuming, based on the latest news though, that cameras just aren't allowed (even GoPros - just saw a recent Tripadvisor review from October). We'll see - I think my wife may still do it and maybe we'll just end up buying some pictures either way.

  2. Hey all,

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but there seems to be some conflicting info as to whether or not cameras are allowed at Chankanaab.

I'm really wanting for my wife, who wants to do this, to go in wearing a GoPro or Contour cam on her head or whatever while she's there. I saw at least one video on Youtube of someone who recorded the experience.

From what I gather though, reading several more recent reviews, it doesn't sound like they'll let you go into the water with anything at Chankanaab (or Dolphinaris for that matter).

Can anyone, who has gone recently (like in the past month or two), confirm that cameras are definitely not allowed (maybe they were allowed previously and the policy changed?)?

    TIA!
