I was on Regal for the August 24th sailing. Returning from Belfast I had a full size bottle of Bushmills in my backback. It breezed right though the scanner. In Iverness I purchased a sampler of scotch and that made it past the scanners. A friend who was sailing with us also had the same experience. I had no plans to open anything onboard. We had the bev pkg. Maybe it was the gray hair. 🤣

I was the same yesterday but this morning the app recognizes me as green again. The glory of it all. 😃

Yesterday I was Green, this morning I'm Blue and my booking was unlinked from my account. And when I try to re-link it doesn't like my booking number. Princess IT messing with stuff again.

Update: Yesterday I asked my wife to check her app and the Plus package details were visible. This morning I go check my app and somehow the booking was unlinked from my account. I try to put in my booking number and it's "not found". Princess IT never fails to amaze. 🤣

Thanks for the response. This is what I'm hoping that it will update before embarkation or at least I can get it solved during check-in. We are 7 days out so hopefully it will be resolved.

We booked Plus50 last year and have no plans to upgrade. If I go to Packages on the app it says I have none. I’ve seen Plus60 folks post screen shots of their app and it lists all the details. Why wouldn’t Plus50 at least show Wifi, Plus Beverage, and Gratuities in the app? My Travel Summary shows all the details of the Plus50. Is this another IT bug?

We are taking National Express as well. We are staying at Tophams on Ebury St which is a short walk from the station.

I've been green for quite some time and yesterday I was blue. After a few minutes it went back to green. Today I open the app it it was blue for a second then green. Up until yesterday it loaded green immediately when I opened the app. Looks like IT/app issues at play.

You had me at "found my way to bar"! 😃 We decided that 5 to 6 hours bus time to Normandy/Paris was way to much for our group. We'll take a shuttle/taxi option in the city centre and do the Beelehavre shuttle to Honfleur. The return shuttle drops you off at the pier. Then we'll find that bar you spoke of. 🤣

Hi, We will be doing a Tower of London tour and Ceremony of the Keys in early September. Would like to find a pub/restaurant within easy walking distance of the Tower for in between our afternoon tour and the Ceremony at 9:30/2130. Looking for more of a classic pub experience. I had seen recommending Nomad earlier in our trip planning stages. I'm not able to navigate the site well and can't find how to get a car to Honfleur. https://www.nomadcar14.fr/fr/ I'm going to stick with the Bee Le Havre bus to Honfluer. $60 r/t per couple but you need to get to their bus terminal in the city centre.15 Place Perret. On the return from Honfleur they drop you right at the port. https://beelehavre.com/en/circuits-en/le-havre-honfleur-tour/ Booking the Princess excursion is a lot more money. $105 each.

I must be missing something. This isn't Le Havre and not Honfleur. I cannot find a basic shuttle/bus service on Viator. Thanks.

Sorry about that. Nomad Cars was a tip I found here on CC that I had not fully vetted yet. https://www.nomadcar14.fr/fr/ Looks to be a pain in the neck. Another option I saw was using https://beelehavre.com/en/how-to-visit-discover-and-travel-easily-between-le-havre-honfleur/ . Looks like you need to take a taxi to the bus station to catch the shuttle which allows 3 free hours in Honfleur. I might go for that.

We are on the same sailing in August. We are not doing the bus to Paris or Normandy. We will most likely grab a Nomad car at the port and spend time in HonFleur. That's if we even get off the ship. We are hoping to do a Paris based river cruise in 2026 so we'll save a Normandy excursion for then.

Thank you for the reports! Following. We are sailing in August stopping in Cornwall and Orkney vs Guernsey and Liverpool. A bit disappointed as we were originally going to Guernsey but were changed due to congestion. Glad you were able to do Blarney! Enjoy the rest of your day!

We are sailing Regal in August. Checked to see what was available for deluxe balcony. Was thinking about upgrading from a standard. Would not show any cabins. Something is up.

We are staying at Topham's a few minutes walk away based on recommendations here on CC.

Only sailed once back in February on a Sixthman cruise. She did not seem old at all. Loved O'Sheehans. Have two more Sixthman cruises booked on her next year. Have fun!

Probably the Lothian X99 bus. That's what we'll be taking into St. Andrews Square when we sail in August.

Just went back and changed our first night dining time to 5:40. Worked great! Had to change it to Allegro but really shouldn't make a big difference. I left the other nights the same.
