I will be on from Feb 5-26, so excited!
We will be on the 2nd half with you!

We will be on harmony in Feb so interested in following along! Curious when the shows are in the evening. We have MTD and I made reservations, but hoping the timing works out with the show times. Otherwise just want to see what you think of the ship.
Do you have any excursions planned?

I was able to book MTD reservations thru the app this week for my cruise in Feb.
-
I made reservations in the app for 7:45 each evening (that was earliest I could get except one night at 6:30). We plan to go sooner than that to see if we can get seated closer to 7. I have no idea if it’ll work though!

Woohoo! I see her! We are going on her in Feb and this is making me excited! 😎

Sometimes the app can be glitchy. I switched cruises and the old one was still snowing under my reservations. I had to delete the app and re download it on my phone and then it showed correctly. You could try that.

Are the issues with MTD the same across all ships? We’ll be on Harmony in Feb and we picked MTD because we don’t want to eat dinner at either of the scheduled dining times. We’d be fine with 6:45 but now I’m concerned how long the line will be on a much larger ship. We did book Jamie's for dinner one night but otherwise planned to eat in the MDR the other nights. Our 11 yr old won’t be able to wait an hour just to be seated. If we reserve a dining time on the app will that cut down on the time we have to wait?

I booked Jamie's for embarkation day! Hooray for no buffet insanity. ($16/adult, $9/child, Harmony, 3/17/24) 😊
I’m on this cruise also and we booked dinner at Jamie’s on day 2 😃

Thanks Bonnie. It sure was.
We’re you the couple we talked to that came via ferry and taxi? If so how was that whole experience? I noticed you had to leave quite a bit earlier? If that was not you who I talked to I -man sorry my mistake.
Thank you that means a lot to me.
No, unfortunately I was not there yesterday. Although I really wish I was! I’ve been there previously on another cruise and we chartered a private boat similar to the one you were on with several other couples. Best day ever!- 1

Glad you enjoyed Jost and soggy dollar as much as we did!! Those painkillers will never be as good anywhere else but on that beach 😎

Has anyone eaten at Jamie’s before? We will be on Harmony in Feb and considering booking a dinner one night at the reduced price. Just wondering if it’s worth the up charge from eating in the MDR.

I’ve stayed on Aruba twice (not as part of a cruise). We did a jeep tour one time that took us to the lighthouse and the other side of the island that was pretty cool. Then we ate lunch at a local spot and ended at a beach. It was a pretty fun day. There were some cruise passengers on our tour and they dropped them off at the port when we were done. If you want to see the entire island, I recommend a tour like that. Otherwise, for a beach day definitely hit Eagle beach.

I did a very similar boat charter from St Thomas over to the BVIs and Jost van dyke back in 2017. Still the best excursion I have ever done and I need to get back there again! I managed to get some plastic cups from the soggy dollar back home but unfortunately they aren’t very durable and they cracked eventually. Just means I need to go back! Enjoy 😎

I’m curious as well as I’m looking at an 11:45am flight home that’s significantly cheaper than the afternoon flights.

I enjoyed reading your review! We’re going on Harmony in Feb on the same itinerary so I will look forward to following along in December! The first day back at work is always the hardest but at least you don’t have very long until your next cruise 🙂 🛳️

Thank you! We’ll be on Harmony in Feb and was wondering about the MDR. This is helpful.

I’m very jealous of your itinerary! We did a day trip over to British Virgin Islands/jost van dyke from St Thomas back in 2017 and it is still my favorite excursion of any cruise. Looking forward to “seeing” the soggy dollar bar. Those painkillers will sneak up on you!

Can’t really answer any of your questions specifically but I spent two weeks on board last year and loved her.
Can you tell me what your enjoyed about her?

Has anyone cruised on Enchantment lately? I realize it’s an older ship but I’m wondering a few things. How is the entertainment? We typically enjoy shows on cruises so hoping there will still be something we can enjoy. Besides the windjammer what are the food options for lunch? How many outlets are in an interior room? Is there enough to do on the ship? We’ll have our 11 year old with us so concerned she might get bored.
Also, if anyone has done the western Caribbean route out of Tampa, please let me know what you did at the ports or other recommendations of things to do.
Thanks!

who was the cruise director on Conquest?
Mat Seguin. He was great! Probably one of the best directors we’ve had.

I wouldn't count on it. I'd call the airline since they changed the flight time by a big margin. They might be able to rebook you on a different flight at no charge. That happened to us once on Delta. We did have to do a connection, but at least the times worked better and we didn't have to pay a change fee.

We just got off the Conquest on Saturday and it was fine. Some of the decorations are out of date, but it's clean and has lots of upgrades. No complaints at all.

I just logged into my carnival account to check. We were planning on purchasing the Cheers package prior to our cruise in January. The 18% gratuity is already there, so they are not waiting until Dec 1.
-
If you have the cheers package and are drinking at the Red Frog/Blue Iguana, order a shot and whatever you want to mix it with separately (along with a glass of ice) before going back to your room to get ready for dinner. Stick them in the fridge while you shower and then you can mix a drink while you are getting ready. No need to leave the room get another drink!

Help with cabin/deck choice on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas please

We are booked on deck 9 midship ocean view balcony. I asked our TA for a quiet spot and he said we are above the shops but facing out so noise should be minimal. Our room is 9184 if you want to look at the deck plan.
