What does that mean?

Going on the Pride 8/16. Both cruises before & both cruises after are available. I've never seen this happen even if the ship is booked. Anyone know why before I call? Thanks!

Looking on White Sands website. I am not familiar with where to snorkel. There is west side shallow & west side wall. What is the difference?

Good Morning....I booked the Pride 2 days ago. Normally we stay on lido deck but since this isn't an option on the Pride, I booked panorama deck.

We are in the aft under the serenity area. I am a light sleeper but I assume there shouldn't be any late night or early morning activity up there. Can anyone offer any input that may have stayed in an aft balcony room on P deck?

Back in January JH posted on FB that they were testing the photo package on the Pride. Does anyone know if this is still being tested on the Pride? I sail in August & would love to reap the benefits of a package. We were on the Sunshine for New Years & I spent way too much money on pcitures!! Thanks!

We are booked on the Sunshine for New Years. Looking to switch to the Dream today. I have some questions if anyone can help PLEASE as we have never been to NOLA!

We would be flying in late at night. So I would like to stay in a hotel close to the airport.

Are there ANY stores (walmart walgreens target etc...) in walking distance to any airport hotels?? We will not have a car & need to pick up soda & toiletries.

Today they are releasing flights for travel thru 1/4/16. It's not open yet. Does anyone know if they do this at a particular time?

Well, the pool decks on most Norwegian ships do not have cabins on them, but they do have the buffet. Your best bet would be to get the deck one or two below, in most cases.

 

Breakaway class have no cabins on the same deck as the pool and buffet. Escape will be like the Breakaway class.

 

Freestyle dining is basically the only thing you have to choose from. There are no assigned seatings, no assigned tables.

 

Hard to know what to give you as an answer for your last question. I suggest reading up on Breakaway and Getaway here in the NCL forum area and see what some of the tips are for those ships, as most of them will apply to Escape more than likely.

ok my first cruises were Carnival too so I understand what you mean about cabins just outside the pool area on the Lido deck.

 

We weren't sure we'd like Freestyle dining, but we do. We don't mind fixed either though.

 

I'm glad I gave NCL a try in 2009; I've been back many times!

 

You may want to read reviews of Breakaway and Getaway since they are sisters of Escape.

We have never sailed Norwegian & are interested in going on the Escape in December. We have decided that we need to broaden our horizons lol. I was looking for a little help & have a couple of questions.

We like to be on lido deck in a balcony room. Is there a lido deck where food & pools are together? OR are these decks separate? There seems to be so many different room types & I am a bit overwhelmed.

Do they only offer freestyle dining?

Is there anything that a 1st timer on NCL should know?
