Here'a news item making the rounds about 500 people from tiny Newfoundland Canada who all unknowingly booked the same cruise on Celebrity Apex out of Ft. Lauderdale on the weekend of April 6/7. we arrive approx. 3pm this Friday. just wondering what approx. cab fare might be from FLL airport to our hotel,Hyatt Place CruiseConvention ,1851 10th Street. The taxi fare calculator sites say around $15. Is that about right? 🤓

in my case (Air Canada), its twofold: after spending $2000 on 2 one-way tickets home, I'd have to pay another approx $250 to select seats for our (2connecting) flights home. I refuse to. When I check-in 24 hours ahead I can pick from what seats are left for "free".(which I usually do). If they're all spoken for, at least I'll still have my boarding pass( AC is notorious for over-booking) so I'll have an assigned seat, but prob.in the last row!

If anyone's still reading this thread....is there anywhere to get "free" internet access in Bimini?

we're on Celebrity Reflection in April, but this question might apply to all lines... We never get the internet package. What are the chances of getting Customer Service or whatever, on ship, to allow me a few minutes of "free' internet use just to check-in for my airline flight the day before cruise ends? I do usually hunt out the free internet locations in ports of call,but on this trip the day before is in Bimini, and I'm not too hopeful...unless someone has a tip for free internet in Bimini ....anyone? TIA.🤓
