the reason i ask is that on our 2 preious cruise stops in both Port Said and Alexandria we did not need a visa to do the desert dash
-
when docking in Alexandria and doing the desert dash to Cairo do you still not need a visa
-
lol thank heavens
-
serious question
Is this aircraft the "Dreamliner" ?
-
regarding Chinese Visas We merely went to the Chinese Embassy in Manchester and had our Visas within 30 minutes.
-
mmmm
ok thanks we will now have to wait and see.
they should be prepared for an irate Yorkshire Man if what i have been assured is not correct
-
mmm further to steveH2508 comment above. I thought I better check with NCL to be told that coffee is avaiable on our package throughout the ship.
So will wait and see in 13 days time
-

-
we are cruising NCL for the first time December 23rd and looking forward to Casablanca and Canaries, just a pity we are not overnighting in Funchal on New Years eve the fireworks are spectacular.
-
The have rescheduled the flight timings to and from Barbados some 3 hours later. Duno why though

I have taken my rollator all around the world, if flying Emirates they take it from you and put it into a very large plastic bag, only ever had problems twice when returning to Manchester Airport where it came off damaged funny only ever at Manchester and so have received a Brand New one from their insurers. I always use Wheelchair assistance at both ends of journeys.

So, the cruise lines rely on passengers to subsidise wages for the stewards and waiters. Better they pay a decent wage in the first place. As I said, the whole matter is not satisfactory.
I totaly agree why dont these cruise lines just pay their staff a 'proper' wage in the first place,
and leave 'tipping' for GOOD service received,
I always have the Mandatory tips removed and always will do:mad:

funny this we have just booked Celebration 2 weeks Caribbean next January and have been given All Inclusive,
-
their is a fairly obvious answer for UK citizens all you need do is take your repeat prescription list with you and you will not have problems.

We are cruising on her October 17th as she is the only Thomson we have not sailed on yet we even sailed on the Saphire out of limasol
-
What ! Another third or fourth hand ship from a budget line to impress the clients on a so called premium line. Not impressed.
She may be that but she is an R class and will be sailing with 2 of her sister ships on a very upmarket decent cruise line:mad:

we returned march 9th as well after 2 weeks good ip is a bit of a let down from its Slendour of the seas time. The MDR is fine very little waiting at all and the food was of a good standard, those on the same 2 weeks could not miss my wife and I, we always sat at table 1 as you entered the MDR were a tad upset by the alteration to the 2nd week itinerary into 2 french ports which were SHUT due to carnivals. hope they dont mess with the Legend 2 much

I'll write a review after we sail in June. Hoping we haven't made a mistake booking the fourth cruise after Discovery starts sailing under Tui brand, but also hoping that Tui ironed out most of the possible snags experienced when Discovery was "launched". We've sailed on the ship when it was Legend, so we're looking forward to seeing the changes
Try again folks 'Discovery' was 'Splendour of the Seas' 'Discovery 2' is the former 'Legend of the Seas'

We are travelling back to back in February on Pride of Panama and Cuban Fusion. I have been trying to find out whether we need local currency or whether the mighty US$ will do. Are most people saying that all ports accept US$ so We don't need to take any local currency?
In short Dollars will do nicely
-
