Thanks very much for that. We have 2 hours ‘free’ time from our ship excursion. It’s dropping us in Arts Square, so will try to squeeze this in. Will probably pre-book tickets as they seem to be very inexpensive.

If booking a St Petersburg ships tour that allows free time in Arts Square (NCL Escape August 2020) will I be able to buy tickets and enter the Church of the Saviour on spilled blood? Any tips? Are guides available or necessary?

Great - Take your luggage with you to the bar and you can watch the game (and also the bags!). Once the game is over at 1pm (or later with extra time) catch a cab with bags out to the ship - make sure you are at POM no later than 2:50 pm, okay!!!

Plan is to get an Uber via hotel and be onboard by 1.45, 2 at the latest.

To the person who asked if I would risk missing the cruise to watch football, no is the answer.

With the World Cup final kicking off at 11am Miami time I am planning to board around 2pm for a 4pm sailing.

This will be ok won’t it?

We share a balcony room with two teenage daughters (slim and petite). I couldn't imagine 4 full adults. Let alone, sharing with parents.

I was in Haven on the epic in October 2017. Our first Haven experience. It was the school half term and the ship was full. The Haven Courtyard never had more than 15 people in it any one time. It was too quiet for me. I regularly went down to GenPop

I watched the WC final 2014 in Spice H2O on The Epic. Unfortunately this years final kicks off at 11am Miami time, right around when I normally head to the ship. But I've found a bar in Miami to watch it and will board later. Hopefully no ET and penalties.

I was quoted $600pp for an ncl transfer from Berlin to Warnemunde. I called again and got the same quote. Ridiculous. Costs more than a flight from Texas to Germany

We also stayed at Eurostar Grand Marina...FABULOUS! Wonderful location, amazing room and great rooftop bar!

Our first time we got upgraded to two connecting suites, 2nd time we paid for the same rooms but got a great price. Best rooms ever in a hotel. Huge.

I wouldn't rely on the onboard shops. Not a brilliant selection and very expensive. Find a shopping centre and go there. Keep receipts for insurance purposes.
