  1. We are flexible and would consider orlando or Miami if it would be financially worthwhile. We expect to depart June29th to get to Ams the day before the cruise which leaves on the first of July. Cruise returns on the thirteenth and our first choice would be to return that day.

I guess what I am wondering is, does anyone know if there is a day of the week when fares are better...or time of day? I seem to remember in years past that airlines put out their sale fares on Tues evening or something like that. Or maybe that is an urban myth? Marilyn

  2. Wow, just read this string and very interesting. Am also struggling with the cost of Tampa to Amsterdam and back this June. In just a few days of looking I have seen airfare go from the 1500 region to the 1700 region. I will look into several of the suggestions you have all made and if anyone has any other advice, bring it on! Marilyn

  3. We will have two days in St. Petersburg in July 2016. Have read great reviews of many tour operators but have not seen any tours specifically stating they are appropriate for someone with mobility issues. My husband can walk but needs to rest periodically and does not do stairs well. I would like to save the expense of having to do a private tour, if possible. Does anyone know of a company that does standard tours that address mobility issues? Thanks for your help. Marilyn

  4. Hi Mike. There area couple of places in our 6B tour where the description says you have free time and can book an optional excursion with the tour director. For instance it states we have a free afternoon in Fairbanks and also Anchorage. Did you have this and did you book anything? If so I would love to know what was available and what you did. Also did you do the Tundra Wilderness tour and did you enjoy it? And finally, what did you do with your free evening in Seward, if you had one? Thanks for all you help. Marilyn
