Has anybody ever used these for ports in the Caribbean & have you found them helpful for planning excursions on your own rather than HAL's shore excursions?
-
Thanks, POA1 and kelleherdl.

Thanks, Huskerchick.

Again, thanks - didn't know about the FL Departures board & yes, I have looked at the TA reviews.
-
Thanks, but I'd also like some opinions on the property itself.

Hi - has anybody stayed at this property before and/or after a cruise? How is it & how far from the airport & cruise terminal is it, please?
We've got points to use & this looks interesting.

The ships have a 'leave a book, take a book' shelf in the library as well. Sometimes well stocked, other times not so much.
-
Thanks - that's what I was remembering.

Does your other half still get the 2nd drink of the day for $1.00?

Cost to rent a cabana - services included with rental?
Cost to rent a clamshell - services included with rental?

Anybody have info or photos of this cabin, please? From the deck plan pictures, it looks like it has an odd angle to it....is this in the cabin or just on the verandah? Thanks.:)

Thanks.

Is the PG breakfast available for all suite passengers or just Neptune Suite ones?
-
Has anybody got pictures or experience staying in this SY suite? Can't find anything & since it appears to be an odd-shaped room on the deck plan, I'm curious.

We have been to San Diego for cruises before, but not since new cruise pier.
Need current opinions/recommendations for a single night hotel stay in March 2015. We have previous stayed at the Holiday Inn - On The Bay.
We like the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown --- it's on 5th St. Used to be a bank & they've kept some of the features....it's an older building - close to the Gaslight/Gaslamp area & a shopping mall within walking distance. The rail system is around the block from it if you want to get to SD early & do some sightseeing.

Are we notified by HAL if booked cruises are cancelled or do we find out here?
-
Thanks, kazu! We bought a bottle of tequila at a stop in Mexico & it wasn't confiscated when we re-boarded...so that's why I wondered about wine.
-
I don't feel like reading thru all 72 pages of this thread so....my question - can you bring 1 bottle of wine per person on board from each port, if you so choose or will it be confiscated at the screening area & released at the end of the cruise?
BTW - HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!
