Once your e-docs are up there is a very tiny caption that reads print luggage tags here. It will pop up.
It is under the header "At The Pier" and there is a suitcase emblem....just double click on that and it will pop up.

We just sailed the Dream July 27th and the kids were with us, we had a Grammie celebrating a birthday and our oldest dd was celebrating since this trip was her hs graduation trip. We had banners, balloons, streamers, a pirate mask for our son and we did window clings for the 3 aft ext balconies we had. It was fun and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I can post tomorrow if that's ok? I'm in the process of writing a full review and I was hoping to get everyone else's pictures, but it looks like I will just go ahead with mine.

We were on the July 27th sailing in 3 aft ext balconies on Vista deck 9 and I can tell you that the first day was misery and while it eventually cooled down, it never got cold. The odd thing is this...you could walk forward in the hallways and as soon as you passed the aft elevator banks, the hallways were freezing. I'm unsure as to other decks, but ours was hot every day in the aft part of the ship and starboard was much hotter than port side. You could literally feel a difference in air temp between the room next to us and our and this was out in the hallway. Our dd was in the port side room (9478) and she said it did get cold on the last night finally. Ours (9479) never did unfortunately and my mother was in between us in 9481 and she said it wasn't uncomfortable for her, but she is cold natured. I believe if I had a fan I would have been much better as the room always felt stuffy to me.

We sailed the Dream on July 27th and we had three aft ext balconies on Vista deck 9, staterooms 9478, 9481 and 9479. In regards to location, I couldn't have asked for a better room for our family. We were just below the aft pool and when we needed a quick drink it was close. Also, if we were hungry then the back buffet was right there. If was perfect in that aspect. As for motion, we didn't notice any worse here than other places on the ship. As a matter of fact we felt it was less than anywhere else. Each evening at dinner in the Crimson dining room we always felt tons of motion.
The view? HoLY CoW! I was amazed at the view from the balconies!!
The only negative? These rooms never cooled down enough for me personally. My dd and her bf said that on the last night their room was cold. Ours just.never got that way.
I know that I would take almost any room available just to be able to sail the Dream again, but I sure did love those rooms and would book again if possible and budget allowed again.

We were being kicked off as you were getting ready to board. Still trying to figure out how to get back on.....lol

We were on the July 27 sailing in cabin 9479 and the first day was misery. Family had the two cabins next to us, 9481 and 9478 and their rooms fluctuated, but were cold the very last night while ours never truly got cold the entire trip. It was unbearable, but if I had taken a fan it would have been much better.

Thank you and thank you again for a great review.

We cruise the Dream in 10 days and thank you so much for the info on the kids club. We have a 9 yr old and he's so excited about the club. This info helped me let him know things he could do. I know you said they do an orientation at 5pm, but I noticed on the schedule they have a late registration at 8? Do you think it would be ok to miss the early one so that we won't miss sail away? We have all first time cruisers besides my dh and I and I don't want them to miss that.

I have been hearing that it is not very family friendly. Has anyone else found this to be true? We will be traveling with teens, a 21yr old, a 9 yr old, a couple in their 40's and a dear grammy. ..In her hip 60's. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was just wondering if you happened to remember what movies were played at the seaside theater at night? My ds knows that Frozen is going to be playing one night (I haven't seen it yet and I've promised not to watch until the cruise :p ) and I see that you watched that also, but do happen to know what else was shown?

Yep, I got it too, and got an e-mail for the first time EVER...thought "oh maybe finally I am going to get one of those free or deep discounted cruises"...PFFT...Nothing, Nada, Nil.....but I did get to read somewhere about the SECOND FREE CRUISE for someone on another site.....REALLY Carnival....people are getting 2 and 3 free or deeply discounted cruises and some of us out here would just like a bone thrown our way.....
You took the words right outta my mouth!!! Just a morsel would be nice!

Thank you for posting this review. We are doing the same itinerary on this ship in July, but backwards and I'm so excited. It is a graduation gift for my daughter and there will be seven of us. My dh and I are the only two that are not cruise newbies and cannot wait to show off how to become cruise addicts! Unfortunately, your pictures aren't showing up for me either....:'(

Off the wall question....approx how many does a cab seat? 2 people? 3 people?

Hi Everyone, I just went back on carnivalgiftcards.com to buy more gift cards, THANKS TO OP for this info by the way! and it doesn't say anything at all. But I do have a screen shot of the original offer saying it ended 6/16/14. So I called customer service and Susie in e-solutions said I will "absolutely get the promotional gift card" as that is the only special they have at the moment and it ends today. FYI :) I'm doing e-card. Got my digital card within 1 minute and promotional card within 24 hours.
I have attempted three separate avenues to receive this offer, but no dice. I get the same answer each time.....promo ended at midnight and we have not received any further information that promo is extended.:(

We are flying in the day prior and wondered the same thing, but we will be walking from hotel to port so don't want to get too much. 42 days and counting!!

Click on "view cruise documents" and "print General Information". On the second page you will see the Itemized Charges section. Look under "Optional Charges" and you should see it there.

I did just that per your suggestion....PHEW!! They are there!
Thank you so much for your help. I've been running ragged for 2 solid weeks and I logged on to do something and my mind went to never, never land and then I got scared thinking it never was charged, it was lost, etc...... lol

I am trying to do some pre-cruise stuff and just noticed that I can't see where I paid for the pre-paid gratuities. Does anyone know where to look for that or am I doing something wrong?
-
I'm curious to know how many purchase the Carnival's vacation protection, why or why not and does it make that much of a difference?
-
I kept his business card. I will look for it at home this evening.
Thank you:)

We took a limo for four for around $90.
Do you mind me asking which limo company you used? We are looking for one and I haven't found one for less than $230.

My dh sailed in 93 and couldn't remember the boat, but he did get credit for the cruise and when we sailed in 2011 he actually got a gold card and was invited to the past guest party. He didn't go in deference to me, but they gave hime credit nonetheless! :)

Are there blow dryers in the staterooms onboard the Jewel?
