How did you like Music Boardwalk? The band by the casino.[/quote
They were not there it was a all Asian group they were pretty good though

DW and I have been on the Triumph 3 times and have truly enjoyed it. Yeah it ain't perfect but no ship would be. It is what you make of it. One thing that I especially enjoy about the Triumph is the free use of the steam room and sauna. Truly relaxing and never crowded.
The punch liner comedy club fills up fast if there is a good comedian so get there early.
The shows in the theater are repeated so second and third cruises we were freed up to experience other aspects of nightly entertainment.
Drink package is the way to go if you indulge.
Love the ports of call too. Cozumel is always great - Progresso or Costa Maya can be interesting too. Belize and Roatan - AWESOME
I agree you can nit pick anything to death . Boat was nice and someone was always cleaning somewhere.
Cheers is a definite -morning iced coffee , wine with lunch, then crown and coke and some long island ice tea until main dining then wine again all included -heck ya
Progresso DW and I went to Uxmal it was a wonder to see..
Cozumel is like you said always great

Try the Sea Day brunch in the Paris dining room. No standing in line for an omelet! The filet mignon was pretty good, too.
thanks

Here are a few things we enjoy:
If you've never sailed from New Orleans you MUST be outside during sailaway so you can watch how they turn the ship around and see how the river is above the little towns down river. On the way back, you should be on deck when we get close to the mouth of the river so you can see how close we come to the oil rigs. If you've never seen how the Gulf waters mix with the muddy Mississippi River water that's pretty cool to see also. It's also a sight to see the sun rising on the river and city of New Orleans the day we return. It sucks to see it because vacation is over, but oh what a sight it is!!
Sitting and people watching outside the Casino Bar on Elegant Night. The photographers are set up all along the Promanade and the outfits range from gorgeous to interesting ;p
We also enjoy trying the Taste bar before supper. It has samples of things restaurants offer.
Watching the drunks return from a day in Cozumel is FANTASTIC!! The pier runners are the BEST! I have to admit we've been some of the drunks, but we've never had to run :halo:
Karaoke night is fun to watch.
We also do the martini tasting at the Alchemy Bar. You get a sheet of paper with names of drinks on it. Then you get drinks and try to match the drink with the name. Be prepared to walk away tipsy, though.
We usually get a lounger on the top deck by the pool so we can watch the contests from above. The breeze is better up there also.
Guys burgers.....i get a plate of mushrooms and pickles.
Blue Iguana breakfast burritos. Most people are at the buffet or omelette station, but they are missing out on the Blue Iguana breakfast. Wait, maybe we should keep that a secret.
You can do as much or as little as you want. Don't try to do it all in one cruise because you'll never get a chance to relax!
I just signed up for your roll call so if you have any more questions feel free to ask either here or there.
Thanks for the wonderful post

I would think you really have to be a "foodie" or be VERY open minded to food.:')
We are NOT foodies, or at least, I am not.
It just doesn't look appetizing in the least to me, and especially for the cost.
I am not into "foam" and all of that other weird stuff.........
Again, it seems to be super popular, but it's definitely not for everyone.:')
To me its like a excursion. You don't know if you will like it till you do it. If you don't like it you can always say you tried it and make jokes about it :D

If you are a foodie it is worth it, I have done it once and plan to do it again on the Conquest in October.
Not really a foodie but thinking about doing it .Already have cheers program so the wine is no big deal
