The Liberty does have refrigerators. They are in a wooden cabinet. Keep the door to the cabinet open and it will help with ventilation so that the fridge keeps a cooler temperature. If it isn't cold enough, speak with Guest services. I seem to remember that they can store it for you if need be.
Thanks. I'm also going to ask my room steward to bring me ice to keep in the refrigerator as well to make sure it stays cold.

We are on the Liberty in September. My daughter has medication that must be refrigerated. I understand that cabins don't have a fridge. What's the best way for us to handle this?
Thanks!

I second jbethel's suggestion. Have them routed to a UPS Store near you and you can pick them up (and sign) there. We don't have an actual UPS Store around here, but we do have a small shipping store (I forget the name) that is a certified UPS location.
Some people have been having problems with shipping & delivery through USPS (orders under $500). A few instances of people on here waiting weeks with no cards in sight. One person waited a month and I think they gave up and cancelled the order. Some of them calling AARP multiple times and getting clueless customer service reps. Being told to wait another 5 days, and after that time passes, told to wait some more. This isn't happening to everyone, but something's going on. On the other hand, people who get their cards delivered via UPS haven't seemed to have any problems.
Thanks for everyone's advice.
I run a convenience store and it's really hard for me to get out during normal business hours. However, UPS stops here regularaly and we are a 24 hour store, so I think I'll just have them sent to the store. (We're a tiny store - my employees won't be able to steal them!) -

This might be best for you as you have to sign for the $500 gift cards.
That's what I was thinking. Thanks!

I need some advice. I'm going to get a total of $800 in gift cards.
Since I can't be certain anyone will be home to sign for UPS, should I buy $400 at a time?
Thanks!

I wouldn't do it - an awful lot of stress. Two weeks ago we had about a 6 hour drive to the port. We left the day before and stopped halfway for the night.
It was a route I've driven lots of times and I'm a pretty fearless driver, but I still didn't want to take the chance of going the same day.
In the end the total travel time was about 7 1/2 hours - that extra 1 1/2 hours would have made a big difference if we had tried to do it the day of.
Besides, being tired and stressed about the drive really isn't the best way to start the cruise!

Isn't Bayyer wonderful? We had him for our cruise that ended yesterday (4/20).

We also were on this sailing. My last cruise was on Carnival and just walking on the ship reminded me how much better I like RCCL!
We had the 8PM seating in Chic, and it was wonderful. We were originally scheduled for 5:30, but were able to change it very easily. Most days we ate breakfast in the dinning room as well. Being full-time working mothers escaping from our families we especially like being waited on!
I wasn't terribly impressed with the Windjammer - or Two70 for that matter. They must have really cut the tuna fish budget because no matter how many times I tried I couldn't get a tuna sandwich with more than about a teaspoon of tuna on it!
As far as we could tell, there were at least 4 medical emergencies. There was the one the first night; an ambulance pulled up to the ship as soon as we docked in Bermuda; Day 4 or 5 we heard the "alfa alfa alfa code over the PA; and there was one at about 6:45 yesterday morning! I hope all concerned are doing well.
As others have said, embarkation, debarkation, and customs were very quick and easy. We were in the car backing out of our parking place at 7:01AM.
Is the boat still moving for anyone else?

Where are you driving from? Last Saturday (4/13) we drove down from Sturbridge MA. Traffic was bad in Southern CT so it took us about 3 1/2 hours instead of the 3 it should have. We got there around 11AM. It took us less than 15 minutes from when we parked until we were having lunch in Two70.

Thank you for the clarification!

I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I want to clarify.
My friend and I are on the Anthem 4/13. Can we EACH bring 12 500ml or less non-alcoholic beverages AND 1 750ml bottle of wine?
I've cruised several times before, but we always had to fly to the embarkation port so I've never done this. This time we're driving so I want to save every penny I can.
Thanks!

OMG! This looks like so much fun!
Every year I fill about 10-12 Christmas stockings (this does become relevant in a moment). One of the things I put in the stockings is rubber duckies but I always have one or two left.
So I have a supply of different ducks! Anthem of the Seas here we come!- 1

If you primarily drink wine at dinner, you can buy the whole bottle, drink a glass or two, and your waiter will store your bottle for the next night.
Cheaper than buying it by the glass every night!

Thanks everyone. You pretty much confirmed what I thought already.
Since I'm happy with the cabin I have, I decided not to bother. -
Thanks.
I'm trying to decide if it is worth bidding for the superior, and if so, how much.

The OP said that she always books directly because the problems get solved.
I do a LOT of my own travel planning & booking but always use a brick-and-mortar travel agent for a cruise - exactly because it's their job to walk you thru the ins-and-outs of cruising. The rules are often confusing and a bit arcane, and it really helps to have someone who knows what they are doing. This is especially true if you do not cruise on a regular basis.
It doesn't help the OP now, but it is unlikely she would be having these issues now if she had used a TA.
Right now instead of being arrogant and angry, she needs to be very polite and respectful and request assistance from RCCL if she wants to salvage her cruise.- 1

Thanks.
I guess I was looking for a more subjective answer.

Just got the "Royal UP" email for our Anthem cruise in April.
What is the difference between these cabins? Is it worth bidding on?
Thanks!
-
It would depend on where you are going. In most cases your passport must have at least 6 months remaining on it when you travel.
If I was in that situation I definitely would renew it. -
A friend and I are booking a cruise on the Sunshine and we are trying to decide between a regular balcony and an L shaped balcony.
I have seen pictures with it set up with a king bed. Has anyone booked this cabin with twins instead? How cramped is it?
Thanks for your advice!!
-
Has anyone had one of these with the twin configuration? Is there enough room? Thanks!
-
How does it work in these cabins with twins rather than a king?

I've been following this board trying to figure out what to do in Freeport when we are there on the 18th. I believe we are the only ship in port that day.
But I'm really confused about which beach to go to. We don't want to spend the money on a Carnival excursion, we're just two middle-aged women who want to go to the beach.
We'd like to have chairs and maybe umbrellas (we're from Maine and are lily white!) available. We're willing to pay a reasonable fee, but don't need a resort and all the associated amenities. We're not worried about food and don't really drink.
Please - any suggestions would be very helpful.

Twice now I've done (4) $100 cards at a time with no problem.
