My brother and I are planning the trip March 2. What I can't get straight is whether or not you actually do go through the locks on the Ship. Would love to know that. It would keep from a very expensive tour. On another note you could still use your TP just dispose of it in the trash can like you have to do the wipes. I have always wanted to do the Canal coast to coast but this came avail and I live in Florida. Ive been on 47 Royal cruises 2 princess 2 carnival and 1 Norwegian. I do like princess however I have not sailed this particular ship. I have not sailed since Jan 2020 so I am excited about going on another cruise. I really thought I was done sailing, but never say never. Thank you so much for all the detail which was very helpful.
