We have done Cabana 10 a couple of times, and loved it. It's next to the bathrooms, but there is not much of a crowd. If you want to be closer to the Pirate Bar, then you would probably want to be at one of the lower numbers like you had listed. Here is a link to another thread that might be helpful.

Thanks for the review. We've sailed the Paradise a couple of times, and will sail on the Miracle out of Tampa in March. We've had Jamie Dee as our cruise director in the past, and I think she's great.

No need for FTTF because you will be platinum when you board. Your Sail and Sign card will be platinum from day 1 of your cruise. When we did our platinum cruise, we were doing a B2B cruise, and we would have turned platinum on the second leg of the cruise. We were pleasantly surprised when we received platinum cards on the first cruise. Since the cruises were linked, we got the benefit early.
Congratulations on reaching this level!

Thinking of B2B in June, what happens at end of first cruise? Will we have to disembark? If we have same cabin can we leave our clothes etc in the room or do we have to pack it up?
You do have to disembark the ship after everyone else has. When we did this on the Conquest, we only had to go down the gangway and meet with a customs agent who reviewed all of our documents, and then let us go back on. Make sure you take all of the documents that Carnival gives you when you disembark. For some reason the customs agent wanted to see our port clearance form even though we weren't leaving the port. Just take the whole package that they give you in your cabin along with your boarding pass. Some people in the B2B group didn't have the port clearance form since they weren't planning to leave the port. They were delayed until someone from the ship could bring them another one.
You do not have to pack up your stuff if you have the same cabin. You can just leave everything in place. I would contact Carnival to make sure your bookings are linked, and let your cabin steward know.

Thanks for the review. We've sailed the Paradise a couple of times, and will sail out of Tampa on the Miracle in March. Looking forward to your longer review this weekend.

You will love the Vista! We sailed on her last year after an 800 day wait from the time we booked. Enjoy your cruise.

Thanks for the review.

Congratulations on being so close. We are 259 day out from sailing to Bermuda. I’ve been looking at maybe booking something out of Tampa in the spring.
Enjoy your cruise!

We were on the Victory over Thanksgiving, and loved the crew. Servers in the main Dining room were great with our grandkids.
Favorite spot to visit in the Bahamas is definitely Half Moon Cay. Get a cabana if you can and be on the first tender. You will have the entire beach to yourself.

If you’re going to have FTTF, or any other form of priority boarding, I would definitely recommend parking at the port. If you use off-site parking, you have to wait for enough people to clear the ship before they will start letting you park, and shuttling you over. Takes quite a while.

If you own 100 shares of Carnival stock, you can request onboard credit for your sailing by emailing a copy of your brokerage statement to guestadmin@carnival.com, or you can fax it to 305 406 6102. You will also need to include your ship, sail date, and booking number. You will receive an email back once approved.
The current program is good for sailings through July 31, 2018. OBC is given based on the number of days of the cruise. For cruises 6 days or less, you get $50, 7 - 13 days, $100, and 14 days or more.
You can find the information at http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit, and click the link to view shareholder benefits.

That's a great early Christmas gift! Merry Christmas.

No, and we weren’t very impressed with the hub app on Victory last month. Most of out texts were never delivered. We have used it before, and had no problems.

Thanks for the information. Planning for our trip next year, and the Carnival excursion is $35pp. We will take the mini bus, and use the rest for beach chairs and umbrella.

Thanks so much for your great review Jeff. It’s been getting me ready for our Victory Thanksgiving cruise, which we board today. We will be busy with our grandkids during the cruise,so I will have to catch up on your progress when we get back. Thanks again to you and Patti for the great review and pictures.

Thanks for posting the review. We will be sailing on the Sunshine to Bermuda next year.

We love the Aft-View Extended Balconies, and have stayed in them several times. There is no problem with engine noise, but Deck 8 is just below the Lido Deck, so you could expect to hear noise from the deck chairs being moved just above you.

Thanks for the review. We will be on the Victory for Thanksgiving. Only 9 days left before we leave!

So excited to find your review tonight while at work. Unfortunately I can't see the pics while I'm here, but will get caught up and review them all once I get home.
We're going to be on the Victory for Thanksgiving, and it will be our first time cruising with our daughter and family for their very first cruise. Our grandkids, 8 yo and 5 yo, will be staying with the DW and myself, so we're hoping it all goes well. Their dad, my SIL has been in Afghanistan for the last few months, and the kids don't know he's going to be joining us yet. We're all looking forward to it.

We have been called twice by the upsell fairy, and took it once. We went from an aft-view extended balcony to an ocean suite for about $120 total. It was a great deal. We enjoy having a balcony, and haven't had an inside cabin in quite a while. We like being in the aft of the boat because it's closer to the Lido deck, and the restaurants. Anywhere on a ship is good for us though.

Here is the quote from the FAQs:
Bringing Liquor and Beverages Onboard - Embarkation
Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages onboard that are packaged in bottles.
A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.

Enjoying your review. One day we will cruise to Alaska.

I bought 2 yesterday. Finished paying for my family Thanksgiving cruise, and our trip to Bermuda next year.
Had our first suite

Booking a suite does not give you early access to the cabin unless you book FTTF, or are a Platinum or Diamond guest.
