  1. Many thanks for your replies. Do you think they would make GF pancakes, waffles or French toast if you requested it?

They will. The last time I tried them (Sept 2017) in BLU, the pancakes were NOT good. I brought a mix once and they made them for me but they made the entire box which was enough food for at least four people 🤣

  2. I haven’t seen GF bagels before but the bread is usually pretty good (two kinds). And they also have blueberry muffins.

At the buffet, you can also order a personal size gf pizza (allow 8-10 minutes or so for prep). The team in the buffet area is ALWAYS willing to help you find safe options.

We also just did Tuscan Grill for the first time and the gf bread there was amazing! I was very impressed, and the EVO with fresh basil was to die for ❤️❤️❤️

    Enjoy a wonderful gf cruise!

  3. Thanks for the review! Iceland also on our hit list just trying to decide on land tour or cruise.

If you have the time and the $$$, I would recommend a land tour instead of a cruise. We are on the May 10 cruise (Iceland/Ireland) and have also spent a week in Iceland prior to this cruise. Even with a full 24 hours/overnight in Iceland, it doesn’t even come close to giving you a full taste of this amazing country.

In fact, my husband and I STILL haven’t gotten to the original attraction that I had wanted to go for! Either way you decide, it’s a gorgeous country with some truly fantastic people ❤️❤️❤️

Tonight, we decided to try some dessert wines, and we both liked them so much that we asked the sommelier to bring us the bottles so we could take a photo in hopes of buying a bottle to drink at home!

I love most reds and most dessert wines, although ice wines are generally my favorite in the dessert wine category. The Sauternes is a great compromise for quality and price. Only a few more days and we will be back on the Eclipse to get some for myself 🥂[emoji7]

  5. We are sailing on the Silhouette in a week and my son and his friend are wondering if they can hook their Nintendo Switch up to the TV in their cabin via HDMI cable. Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you so much.

I’d be interested to confirm this as well! My guess is yes, but I’d prefer someone else to speak from experience.

  6. I am a gluten free cruiser. There are several gf options for desserts at various restaurants across the ship, including the MDR. Of note: they have creme brûlée every night!

There are even gf macaroons (the ooey gooey coconut ones not the French kind) at Cafe Al Bacio.

    Happy gf cruising!!!

  7. I think it really depends on what you are interested in...

My preference: 1. Southern 2. Western 3. Eastern

Although with San Juan and St. Thomas / USVI, your cell phone will work (if you’re from the US) without additional fees or upgrade so that is a pretty nice bonus.

My overall suggestion is: Pick the itinerary that fits your schedule and maybe is a better price/deal. It’s a cruise and everything is pretty fantastic.

    Bon voyage!
