Seriously! Last year on NCL we went to Cayo Levantado for $14 pp. This year on RCCL we're looking at $55 pp. That's just crazy! It's making me rethink what I want to do there...if anything.

Is it really worth going to we are on the 3/11/14 cruise on the Explorer have no idea what to do we arrive at 11:00 am and leave at 6:00 pm. We are thinking this is a wasted stop and might just stay on the ship what do you think?
Thanks Bob

Did check entertainment and yes they do run buses out of Jersey. We have used the service for out last 3 cruises good service no problems. 100.00 per person.
Is that price round trip per person or just one way since it is a repo cruise we would only need the bus to Baltimore we would have to fly back to NJ from Orlando since the cruise ends in Port Canaveral. Does RCCL do any buses from NJ to the Baltimore Port?

Thinking of doing a cruise from Baltimore 4 /13/13 a repo cruise does any one know if they have a bus service from nj to the Baltimore port.

I'm not sure how recent they visited Valley Church Beach or what time of year they were there. It's become quite popular recently and more crowded than in the past.
I believe it was Nov. 2010 they were on the Explorer of the Seas.

We were there on a Sunday last February and the bar/restaurant was indeed open for business. Chair/umbrella rentals were also available.
Thanks for your quick reply we had heard from others on our roll call that they were there on a Sunday and it was not open, by the way we will on the first sailing out of Bayonne on the Celebrity Silhouette 11/06/11

Will VCB be open on a Sunday we will be there Nov. 2011 of course the beach will be there but will the bar/restaurant be open and will there be chairs to rent on a Sunday?

That glow you are seeing is most likely coming from a ultra violet light. My job is in water treatment, pure water and waste water for a major pharmaceutical co. They have a desalination system on the ship to remove salt from the sea water to use onboard. They also most likely have a RO system (reverse osmosis) to further treat the water, the ultra violet light is part of the system to kill bacteria in the water. As far as the piping on the ship I would assume that all supply water comes from one source and all waste water is a seperate piping system but without seeing the ships drawings I can't be positive
