You are seriously referencing the cruise contract to define what one's expectations should be for their cruise experience?
Not to define expectations. OP stated that they did not get what they paid for. The cruise contract is the only place that defines what explicitly you are paying for. The OP's expectations and what they paid for are two different things it appears. I am in no way saying they were not disappointed, but I have a feeling they got what they paid for. In the rare case they didn't, they can consult legal counsel and seek to get their money back.
My overaction is in step with my opinion of the pettiness of their issues.

For me, I'd pick Grandeur. 9 nights over 7, and Bermuda over Port Canaveral.
Although Adventure is newer and has more bells and whistles, I love the Vision Class and would gladly sail on Grandeur.
I second this.

Who ever said I was disappointed with the other lines?
I was simply stating the quality on an overall has declined. This particular cruise, however was a little over the top. Not what I paid for. Most definitely would do Celebrity again....or atleast go back.

I just made an assumption. In my opinion many of your complaints are petty and in no way guaranteed in your cruise contract. I am glad that my vacation experiences haven't been reduced to counting operational lightbulbs or exposed threads on chairs in the dining room. To each their own. Happy cruising.

Yes, there are other options. My issue is with when cruise lines misrepresent their product. Part of that misrepresentation comes from cruise sites. They need to be more forthright with the true quality and services provided. Then the consumer can make an educated decision as to if that particular cruise is “worth it”. Not everyone is picky about food quality, crowds or activities. However, an honest assessment is difficult to come by.
Assessments are as subjective as tastes and preferences. Most mainstream lines are more similar than different. If the op has tried most of the lines and is still searching to be satisfied, I am guessing that she will continue for quite a while to find one that will meet her expectations.

Doubtful. We have seen the 12-17 ages combined, but never combining under 9-11 with the 12-14. Our daughter was 2 months from turning 12 and was denied being in the 12+ crew with her sister on Oasis.

Best part as consumers is that we can take our business elsewhere. I'm thinking Oceania may be a better fit to meet your expectations.

Not for me. I like the activity of the main pools and really like the reserved seating around the pool. I would rather that was standardized a bit fleetwide rather than have another dedicated area. I like the activity, just hate searching for a chair and dealing with the chair hogs. To me the best part of suite accommodations is the avoidance of lines, extra cabin space, and having a concierge to handle guest service issues.

We have received a credit also after final payment date. Here is the scenario, the price drop was $1000 and change but the cancellation penalty only $500. We were credited the difference minus the $500. We were given the drop to save the issues of a cancel and rebook on their end. I don't believe that a credit would be given if it did not exceed the amount of the cancellation penalty unless you have naked pictures of someone important.

Why is this a difficult subject to understand. The discount is off of the CURRENT PRICE, what ever that may be. It is not a sale on any previous price, published or not. Read the fine print. You cannot take only the bits and pieces of the sale that fit your needs. I understand the frustrations and completely see why people think this is a bait and switch, but you are simply failing to understand and accept the terms of their offer. You must look at the offer as a whole, inclusive of all exceptions and limitations or you will continue to beat your head against the wall over these sales.
Bottom line, look at the final cost. Don't be swayed by the sale shell game they are playing.

You will need black tennis shoes with white tongues for formal night.

Do we dare tell them what has likely occurred on their bed, in their shower, or on their balcony? They may need a larger alcohol wipe!

On our trip ABC islands were all on the port side of the ship. Labadee we docked on the starboard side, nose in.

What are other windsurfing vendors with chairs and restauranr in the area? We visited Jibe City and Hangout back in Dec and were VERY disappointed in the food & beverage service at Hang Out.
The Beach Hut is a little further down the road. As is The Windsurf Place, but I don't remember if TWP has food.
Hangout Bar service is bad.

As already said, "Formal Dress Code" is not enforced. Your husband will be just fine....and you can dress in whatever you feel compliments his attire. You will see everything. Just coming off the same cruise, I can't remember seeing many people in tuxedos at all....lots of pretty dresses/pantsuits of all styles.
Agreed. We had late dinner on the 1/19 sailing most people were respectful of the dress code, did not see many shorts and tank tops. Also didn't see many tuxedos. We did notice many more suits that on our last couple sailings. Guessing it is attributed to an older demographic versus other sailing.

CP cabins can be really hot, especially in the summer months. Not a lot of airflow. If that doesn't bother you then the CP will be much quieter, and it is beautiful at night.

Pressing is cheap, should you want to go that route.

Either should be fine. Both about the same distance from the port. Probably more night life at Mambo.

I think the cost was about $80. If on a Royal Caribbean ship you have to book through the ship. Don't know about other lines. You do not need to be a strong swimmer as they have float vests that you can borrow. I would say there were about 30-40 people total, but it did not seem crowded.

We’re planning to rent golf carts for the day in Bonaire because we’d like to see the salt flats, etc. However we also would like to do some snorkeling. Any suggestions on good snorkeling areas accessible via golf cart? Are there any places that rent snorkel gear? We can bring our own if we have to but prefer not to tote it. Thx.

1000 steps North of the port was great. There is a basket on the back of the cart that will hold your gear. You can also snorkel by the salt piles on Pink Beach. there are many, many places to snorkel but watch your feet as some will have urchins. Look for the sandy entries.

Just off Navigator of the Seas. We did the Mi Dushi snorkel trip. It was fantastic. We got about a 45 minute boat ride each way. We snorkeled a reef where we were given bottles of bread to feed the fish. The fish are eating out of your hands. We also snorkeled the Antilla wreck, which was also great. Then we went closer to shore to snorkel and to use the trapeze swing on the boat. On the ride back we were served lunch with an open bar. Fish, chicken, cucumber salad and veggies. It was great. I would definitely do this trip again.

One never knows. Sometimes its charters. Sometimes they have an issues with pricing and pull them down. Sometimes it is a tech glitch. There is really nothing to do but wait and keep checking. Many will tell you they know, but unless your are on the inside or the one that charters no one knows for sure. I would rely on calling vs trusting the website.

2nd for Bonaire Cruisers. We did it on the 1/19 sailing and it was great. Aruba we did Mi Dushi through the ship. Also great. Snorkeling, lunch and a boat cruise. Curacao we did Mambo Beach on our own. A bit crowded but a nice area. Cab was $20 each way, beach access is $3/pp and a chair was $3.50 per chair.

Thank You!

We were on 1/19. Old menus. We thought the food was ok. It was better than Oasis in October. But not great. We thought the desserts lacked appeal.

Same reasons for us....
We also have the added benefit of having my MIL in Fort Lauderdale for a free room and transfer to Miami.

Me as well, though no MIL to stay with.
Prepare to be....DISAPPOINTED!!

I didn't feel as though I attacked, I said I felt that their opinions were petty. Which by your statement, my opinion is my opinion also. I also never said their opinion was invalid. I do not work for the cruise line but I do take exception to someone saying that they didn't get what they paid for. No where is it guaranteed that a light bulb won't be out. Expecting that a ship that sees thousands of passengers a week would not show some signs of this, at some point is , in my opinion unrealistic.
I made a comment to help earlier for the OP. I advised, to avoid many of the complaints they may want to seek out another line that is not a middle of the road mass market line. The issues they experienced would likely not happen on a Crystal or Oceania cruise.
