If they are onboard a ship, tbey are representing Princess. I never said they were employees.

Many TA's will package pricing so packages are included, but the cost is built in.  Buyers need to beware of "free" items.

Perfect example of "if it sounds too good to be true.....it probably is".

Durring the restart when the Majestic Princess was only half full, we wrote in French Toast and "Crispy Bacon". It was perfection!

So, How do we get half of the passengers to stay home?

Cut the cruise population by saying no vegan or organic items. Heathen meat eaters only cruise!

There you go...glad I could help!

It is a good thing that there is more than one cruise line. That allows us to have a choice.

When comparing cruise lines many people use different criteria.

When I pick a cruise, I have no favorite and I am not a cheerleader for a specific line.

Some people find fault or complain about trivial the things.

This is a real funny subject. LOL

So true.....I have no faves either.

I am looking for the best deal all around.....even itinerary is not a #1 issue.

Every cruiseline has it stuff that is not cared for.

The only cruiseline I somewhat avoid is one that would attract lots of kids.

But in my ballpark we go on cruises that aren't in summer vacay or holiday times!

rude? - by denying your write-ins as in ...

I always got what I needed in regards to write-ins and never saw anyone to be treated rudely.

But then again I never wrote in belgian waffles lightly toasted with clotted cream and organic field wild strawberries only. 😆😜

You may well be right. I assumed it was a shrimp because the Triple S is described as Shrimp, Salmon and Scallops.

As an added note, I had to dismantle the "shrimp" since Mrs. OS doesn't like food with eyes

They didn't do it for you?!

Oh No! I agree with Mrs. OS! I don't care for anything I eat staring at me 🤢

Princess has the Plus and Premier Beverage Packages. Better than Celebrity's current Classic and Premium Beverage Packages. Princess has more evening entertainment than Celebrity. Princess uses the medallions instead of SeaPass cards. Celebrity's loyalty program is a lot better than Princess. You can't go to your cain when you first get on a Princess ship. Cabins open up at ~1:PM. Smoking is allowed in the Princess casinos at all times. Our experience with service is the same. Food, subjective. Princess ships have shower curtains and not glass doors on their cabin showers.

Yup those shower curtains always give me the weebie jeebies! It feels yucky when it touches you! 😫

So my wife and I are taking my sons on an Alaska cruise with Princess. My sons are 20 and 17 years old. We got two staterooms next to each other and have a few questions.

My agent booked us two staterooms next to each other. My wife and one son in one room and me and my other in the next stateroom, joined by a balcony. We plan on letting the boys sleep together and my wife and I sleep together. My question is, when we get on board, how will that work? Will one of my sons have to go through our stateroom to get to the other? We have balcony staterooms so conceivably that could work. But would love for there be a better option. Would we just switch medallions when we get on board? Will that get us in trouble?

The Princess Cruise app is extremely glitchy. Rarely have I been able to complete any steps without it crashing on my iphone. Is there a better alternative? I've read that Princess Cruise phone people are not very helpful either. I've read this is a chronic problem that has been around for years, but we've never cruised with Princess before, so I'm kinda wondering if we made a mistake.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

We didn't use the medallion app until onboard.

Went on princess app to do what is needed before our cruise.

We downloaded the medallion app  on our phones to have it ready to go and to see how many days left until our cruise. Once onboard and we check in we are ready to go.

We had no problems with the medallion not even once when we sailed last november.

  11. When we cruised on Discovery last november they told us that Monterey would not be a stop because of high winds🫤.  They told us the day we were supposed to dock so they did a slooowwww sail from Frisco!

    Kind of irritaring!

    Not even a catalina offering!

  12. We were on Discovery this past november and formal night was more of an optional attire. People were more smart casual and maybe a step down from that.

I was more casual and threw on a string of pearls and I'm in!

My husband was a nice button down shirt with slacks.

We saw suits but no tuxes. It has truly gotten alot more casual.

Do as you please kinda vibe.

  13. I go with a travel agent that popped up on my google travel question situation.

    A well connected agent!

It doesnt cost anything to use a  TA and with them you can get incredible perks because of their connection with the cruiseline. I got $600 obc just by their connection and their agency for using them.

Do not disregard the power of a good TA.

I wish I could tell you who they were but it is not allowed on cruise critic.
