I think he asks about D+. Don't know if there is any difference in internet minutes.

and what is wrong with THAT? some people only sail suites.
Did I say there was anything wrong with that? actually it's the best thing you can do on a cruise. Book yourself a suite!

I have been told and read that the Splendor was originally built for the Costa Line but changed and Carnival took it over. That is why the ship is somewhat different than most of the other ships.
it's true. Splendor was originally built for Costa. There were even rumors that they would transfer her back after the Concordia incident.

There was a group of 20 from Curacao on your sailing, and they loved every minute of it. There was a triplet in the group, so you might have noticed them.

For us having the drinks loaded on our Sea Pass cards is so much better than having to go to the Diamond lounge.
And I love to go to the Diamond Lounge to meet new people with the same passion as I have. Most of the time you see familiar faces too, especially on TA's.

On Riviera deck you are closer to the engines too, so you might feel more vibration.

I love cruising solo. Can do whatever i want at my own pace and time!

It depends what you are looking for. Haven't been on those 2 ships, but on their sister ships. Have been on N.Pearl & N.Dawn and Caribbean & Ruby Princess. I think if your friends are very laid back, I will give Princess a shot. In the end it's always good to try something different before you stuck to 1 particular cruise line. Variety is the spice of life.

If there is no delay you will be fine. But you never know beforehand. I would say fly in the day before, because even if it's winter and you are flying in from a hot place, the plane can still have a delay.
Most of the time the plane is originating from another place and if it's snowing there (assuming it's winter) she most probably will leave late. Miami is a great place to spend a couple of days.

In my eyes they are following a strange strategy in bringing out new ships. Sooner or later they will loose a share of their clients if they don't do anything about it!

Why does Magic need a greasy burger joint when there is a seaside BBQ? I recall the Dream have the BBQ outside on the deck and they were better than Guy's burgers.
I found the Fat Jimmy's C-side BBQ on the Breeze nothing to write home about.

http://www.cruisecal.com the best! go to "itinerary lookup", choose ship and finally sailing date.

Guess you must be cruising in suites all the times, because if your next cruise is your first one as a Diamond member, I can't see how you could have used the Concierge Lounge in the past.

Correct Breeze was built with them. But if they can make them fit on Breeze why wouldn't they fit on Magic which has the same deck space.
Or the Conquest Class? I don't buy it. There must be something cooking between Carnival & Guy's because they haven't put 1 single one on any of their ships in a long time. When they announced it, it was for all ships, so they already knew if there was enough space yes or no. There is no space? ya' u r right!

I read an article several weeks ago that someone had posted on here about the Carnival dry dock schedule. I don't remember who posted it. But it said the Magic would receive all 2.0 upgrades except for Guys and Blue Iguana. It said they didn't have the deck space for it.
How come Breeze has the deck space for them?

Do they already know what caused the fire?

Usually the deals start popping up after final payment day. I seldom book more than 1 month in advance. I just pick the dates I want to travel and sit back and wait for the deals.

Jiji's is a must do.

It's a good deal, but honestly I think it's one of the cheapest week of the year, so you might get a better deal on the other cruise lines as well. I went on the Regal Princess last year after Thanks Giving, and I ended up paying $376 p/p for an inside. Even Thanks G. week on the Eurodam I paid something like $317 for an obstructed OV.

Just my 2 cents.....
Guys burgers is nice (have cruised on 2 ships with) but really I've had just as tasty burgers and dogs at the older style grills. I really don't think that Guys should be the primary decision maker for any cruise.
And to me the only CCL ship that I can call "beautiful" is Breeze! It's colorful but in a more earthy and tropical way. I really love that and wish that CCL would consider something like that as a future 3.0 or something.
Both Breeze & Sunshine are beautiful. The rest just meh.

I have tried both, but dinner is much better. I can eat a lot, and I had a lot of left over, because I was stuffed. They give you way too much food in my opinion.

It depends from ship to ship, and even from bar to bar what you can get with your voucher.

The Magic is being moved to Port Canaveral effective May 8, 2016 thru Nov. 20, 2016
I thought effective April 20!

Doesn't cruisecal charge now? I tried to use them a while back and of you want to search a particular ship, it was asking for login info.
Not if you do it like I said;)
