    The routing for the two mega ships would not appeal to me. One of the best features of a NB or SB is the scenery and wildlife along the inside passage north of Vancouver that is only available to the smaller ships. The mega ships have essentially 2 sea days.

    RCL has a louder let's get this party started vibe with lots of announcements. Princess has a quieter, more serene vibe with far fewer announcements. RCL targets families and features lots of activities for kids. So if you've got kids the choice is obvious. If you don't have kids the choice is also obvious.

    Alaska cruisers tend to dress down compared to other destinations.
