I also just took this upgrade, as we would have upgraded the drink package and the wifi anyway, and will use the extra shore excursion money, so it was worth it for us. I am booked through the casino so I called them to add the promotion. The agent to whom I spoke had not yet applied it to any bookings before mine, but it worked and I got my email confirmation fairly immediately. Also, for what it's worth, this booking is one that was a replacement for several cancellations - and the booking date is listed as 1/13/22 so I am outside of the 1/18 date (barely). Also, for what it's worth, it was $49 per day for me but only $41 per day for my husband. I was told because the wifi is only for the first person in the room - which seems odd to me but whatever. Besides that bit of weirdness, it was pretty seamless. I do have a couple excursions already booked, so I need to call to figure out how to get the extra $50 applied (or just cancel and rebook, I guess).
Also, for what it's worth, none of that shows up on my online booking yet, as I think others have reported.

We were in 8044 just under one one of the extra WJ seating areas where the grab and go stuff was. I only heard one noise all week. The location was great for us.
That's great to hear, thank you! We are going to be in 8034, so two away from where you were.

Following along - we will be on Enchantment in October and haven't been on her in about 4 years. We also will be in a GS. Just curious - not sure exactly what room you were in, but did you notice any noise from the Windjammer above?
Thanks for the review, looking forward to hearing more!

We have done it - but as stated above, it doesn't work for cruise ship coverage, only for ports. So, on the ship, connect to the ship wifi and leave in airplane mode. OFF the ship - you can use the Travelpass and you'll be charged $10/day. Travelpass will text you when it kicks in at each port, once you come out of airplane mode.

I can't remember HOW it came, but it was quick, maybe 3-4 days?

This was so wonderful and helpful to read! Glad you enjoyed yourselves and are back safe and sound. I HAVE to know about the crustacean dress - I am from MD and would love to get my hands on a dress with crabs on it! Where did you get it??
Thanks again for taking the time to bring us along - we board Allure on Friday!

They have testing capabilities at the ports because they test the unvaxxed kids pre-cruise, from what I understand. That said, if they do test you at the port I'm certain it costs $$$$. Way easier to do it pre-cruise at CVS or Walgreens for free.

The mammals and birds (plus more of several other animals we didn’t get to meet because it was not safe for them) were at the Daniel Johnson sloth and monkey sanctuary, and the Iguanas were at the iguana reserve run by the Arch family. Choose the easy or accessible (depending on your needs) monkey, sloth, and iguana interaction.
I did this excursion (Daniel Johnson) a couple of years ago and it was by far the best excursion of the whole cruise.

We get them at least once a month, so I would assume that once you are on the casino's radar, the offers will keep coming.

Thanks for all the info so far! It's making me hungry reading it all 🙂
If you get a chance, would you let us know if the thermal spa pass is a "go when you want" situation OR if it is a timed reservation. Previously it has been timed, as far as I know, which would be a deal breaker for me, but if you can come and go as you please, that might make it more worthwhile (for me anyway).
Have a great cruise and thanks for bringing us along!

Following along as we will be on Allure on the 22nd! 😎

For what it's worth, if you have insurance, many times they have clauses about changes in itinerary and reimbursements for that. Now, you have to go on the cruise, of course, but your insurance my compensate you for the change.

Following along - we are on Allure next month on the 22nd and are SO looking forward to it!

I am a big jewerly wearer (and buyer lol) and I bring it ALL on vacation with me, because, as others have stated, why have it? The expensive pieces are insured if something happens, but I bring it all and wear it. I do put it in the room safe of course, and I don't necessariy wear anything super blingy in port, depending on what we plan to do. (My husband is a diver and so far has lost 2 wedding rings in various sbodies of water lol....the lost rings were fairly inexpensive but he wears silicone rings now!)

Thanks for sharing your experience and your great attitude! I, too, have been on a ship and heard the names being called prior to the ship leaving and have thought, how does that even happen? But I can definitely see it now, having read your story. Glad you are back safe and sound, and thanks again for sharing. I will admit that I have said, oh that could never happen to me, but now I'm not so sure. It's a good cautionary tale for all of us! 🙂

I'm in Aspen Hill. I can NEVER remember how to spell Mountie Mike's name. Is that his official name now, because i can remember that.
Fountains was HILARIOUS. He actually posted in my live thread in 2018.Thanks for bringing us along! I am also in Aspen Hill - we are planning our first cruise out of Baltimore in October. We have been on Enchantment before, although it's been a minute, but never cruised out of Baltimore. I'm excited to not have to deal with the airport pre-cruise!

I can confirm that I got all resort fees waived at Borgata two days ago for a booking I made in December, so I think the resort fees are waived for stays from 2/1 onward. I don't think it matters when you booked it, just when you stay. I am Platinum, if that matters.

We did Chef's Table in October on Oasis. There were 8 of us and as the photo posted above shows, there was ample spacing between everyone. It was really nice not being squished in with 14 others lol!

As others have said, a lot can happen between now and August, so you could still very well stop at those ports. Secondly, if you have trip insurance, some of them will compensate for missed ports, assuming you a) went on the cruise and b) can provide documentation that the ports changed after you booked.

Awesome, thank you. 🙂

So on our last cruise we skipped over Platinum and are now Emerald. On our next cruise (in April), will they give us both the platinum pin and the emerald pin? I know it seems kind of silly but I am excited to finally get to another C&A level and I like to have keepsakes from our cruises.

I have dropped my husband at Juggie's many time when I go shopping! 🙂

NCL Introduces new "Free At Sea Plus" Packages
in Norwegian Cruise Line

Sadly, I am not at the level where I get a casino drink card. I book through the casino because of their partnership with Caesars and my status there. The cruises themselves are nicely discounted (or comp) but I don't get free casino drinks, so I always get the drink package.
