Just wondering. How do we get our medallions? We have a cruise on February 18 on the Sky. Do we have to order them and if so how and when? We have only cruised Princess once and that was before Covid and I can’t remember how we got the medallions. Also, can we check in online when the time comes or do we have to do it on the medallions? It sounds like people are having a lot of problems with them.

    Thank you

We choose to have them mailed on the app. Our cruise is Dec10th and received them 3 days ago.

    Hello

Looking to book a balcony or mini suit on Sky Princess for a December 2023 cruise. I want to book midships decks 9 to 14 but the website will not let me choose a cabn and says reserve your stateroom  and it will be assigned just prior to departure. Am I likely to gt a cabin midships and on the deck I choose?

    Thanks

Use a TA and they can get you what you want. Pick the state room you want and tell them what state room number it is. If it is available, they can book it and you will be guaranteed at that time.

I’m surprised to hear you say that.  Princess has the most comfy beds I have ever found on a cruiseship.
what didn’t you like about them?  Too soft?

    I agree. Great comfortable beds.

Hi all….  Quick question.   Do you get the 50% OBC perk on the 50th cruise or

does it have to be the 51st?

do I call Diamond Desk to set this in motion or is there another department that

    handles it?

    thanks,

GUEST RECOGNITION - MILESTONE REWARDS PROGRAM

As part of Carnival’s Guest Recognition Program, Milestone Rewards was developed in appreciation of longtime Carnival guests.  This milestone reward benefit is in addition to the wide range of amenities and privileges that guests already receive as part of the VIFP Club.

Milestone Rewards Program denotes a guest’s 25th, 50th 75th and 100th revenue cruise with Carnival.  Guests will receive a special Milestone Sail & Sign card on their corresponding Milestone cruise.  We want to distinguish guests on their Milestone sailing with a unique card so that we can make his/her Milestone experience extra special and memorable.  After this milestone cruise, they will revert to the card that corresponds to their VIFP level.

In appreciation for their loyalty, the guest will also be granted the opportunity to redeem a future non-refundable onboard credit equivalent to 25%, 50% or 75% of the cruise ticket price, corresponding to the milestone reached. And when a guest reaches his/her 100th cruise, will qualify for a FREE Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska or Australia cruise of their choice (8 days or less, for 2 guests), in accommodations up to and including Ocean Suites (category OS). This onboard credit may be applied to any future cruise in accordance with the terms and conditions below.

If you have questions regarding your Milestone rewards, please contact our Milestone's Desk at 877-CCL-VIPS. 877-225-8477

    ·       Milestone Reward is valid for its stated value in U.S. dollars, only on Carnival Cruise Line and/or Carnival Australia cruise booking, to be used as a credit on board a ship. The Milestone Reward is not valid on any other cruise line, including any Carnival Corporation affiliate line. Milestone Reward is nontransferable, nonrefundable and has no cash value.

    ·       Milestone Reward must be redeemed at least 30 days prior to sail date and will be applied to the booking on the week prior to sailing.

DH and I are both Diamonds and are fast approaching our 50th Carnival cruise. Do we each get one Milestone cruise or do we only get one for both of us? We don't recall when we had our 25th Milestone cruise if we just got one or both had the one.

You both receive the milestone. Split for two different cruises or the same one. Your choice.

So, you are fine with telling some something will work, but not telling them that doing so might be illegal in places they will be?

    Strange way of "helping" people.

Your remarks are nNOT wanted or required. If you are so smart. How about you tell them all the rules for all the different ports. Then you might be doing something. It is up to the user to make sure they check and see if they area able to be used leagly on the ship while in port. Getting off of the ship in ports is certainlly something that would need to be checkd before using them. Happy now?

It's too bad that Royal doesn't do what Disney Cruise Lines does with their cabin phones.

Disney cabin phones are portable and act as intercoms between the handsets in a room. There are two of them and they work around the ship and between the ship and Castaway Cay. I found them to be quite convenient when I was separated from my wife on the ship.

I am glad Royal does not charge twice the price as Disney does.

Are these allowed on board?  If not, and Royal were to confiscate them, would Royal give them back to us when we go onshore/excursions?  Thanks.

Yes allowed. Make sure they are a UHF frequency. They will work the best. However, inside to outside may be intermittent at best.

My husband and I enjoy Celebrity very much, but we would like to try RCL.  For those of you who know both lines, maybe you can help us narrow down the many choices of ships in the RCL family.  It is overwhelming! 😉

We are in our early 60s.  We like the M- and S-Class Celebrity ships - 2-3000 pax - and a more traditional setting.  We like having children on board, but we don't care for the water slides and such on some of the RCLs.  We are looking for quiet spaces for reading and games but love being by the pool for fun and music.  We love the Celebrity Martini Bars and shady outdoor settings to for this very-easily-sunburned woman. 🙂

    Can anyone help?  TIA

RCL for me does not compare to Celebrity. Celebrity much nicer.
