Anyone been in 8620/8622 or 8120/8122 on the Pearl - did you happen to feel much vibration or movement? We are heading off on a panama canal cruise - hope these will be OK

Thanks everyone for your opinions. We took the stern oceanview cabins - I think I would prefer a little vibration every now and then rather than movement. Hopefully we made the right choice. We took 8620 on the Pearl - so if anyone has been in there let me know!!

Need some advice, I can either have cabins on deck 8 of NCL Pearl right at the very front or right at the very back (as I require connecting cabins and these are the only ones avilable) Last time i had cabins at the rear there was some vibration. Anyone been on the Pearl and had any issues with these cabins?

Just after some feedback from anyone who has sailed in an oceanview porthole room - are these virtually the same as a regular oceanview, just with a smaller window??

Do you get much of a view from the porthole??

Well that's not very fair - we will be silver status after 3 days of a 17 day cruise. By the end of it we would be gold as we booked 9 months in advance

Does anyone know if I change levels during a cruise - say 3 days in, do I receive the benefits of the higher level from that point on - such as the discounts on photos etc?

Can anyone confirm if they have been on Island/Coral Princess or NCL Jewel/Pearl and that they do open the bow of the ship when transiting the canal??
