    If all has insurance, then something might be able to be worked out.  It is a good thing you are planning ahead for a complicated situation.  It is out of the passengers' hands.  Your TA will have to work this out with Princess.  Good luck.  Not sure if your TA has enough experience to deal with something so complicated.

     

    You should all be covered under the insurance and should all be able to cancel for any reason.  Regular PVP will give you back 75% and Platinum PVP will give you back 100%.  Don't know if you will get dollars or FCC.

    Can an adult in the other room exchange rooms with grandpa before he cancels? Then there is aleady an adult in the room with the minor when he cancels. 

  2. After an hour on chat, no one knows why We can’t purchase on the app. The app will not let us use the saved card and it will not allow a new card to be added. 

     

    It now shows it added in the personalized and paid, even though we have not paid for it and it was never in his cart.

     

    I printed the travel summary showing it on there as paid. Will see how long before it disappears.n

     

    This is absolutely ridiculous. Half the stuff is on the app and half the stuff is on the web page. No wonder nothing works.

  3. Is anyone having the following issue on the Princess App?

     

    I was able to purchase the discounted WiFi for one device at the Platinum rate.

     

    my husband has tried to do this on his app…when he chooses the WiFi purchase option, it takes him to a screen to pay. Our cc on file is not listed and it wants him to enter cc info. He selects that…and our cc on file is listed, but won’t let him choose it. Tried to enter a different cc, and we get an error message.

     

    Cruise is in 3 weeks.

    I just got my minimum bid accepted email and my CC has indeed been charged.

    My "big box" TA has already sent me an updated Princess Booking Confirmation with my new cabin # (I hope he gets his commission on the upgrade cost).

    It appears I was right with my guess that the bidding computer had "locked" my bid while it was being processed.

    We were at the game where Plaxico Burress had just shot himself in the leg...he was the featured player on the ticket. Sal Palomantano used our tickets on air before the game...we were terrified it was a scam...but his person brought the tickets back and sent us some hats and t-shirts from ESPN I think it was.

    Everything except "upgraded" packages. Princess continues to disappoint...

    I had the balcony dinner, the balcony breakfast and a pack of water in the cart for maybe a few weeks.

    When i went to delete the breakfast recently it wouldn't remove it. Did a chat on the website and they told me I had to call because they could not refund it to me. They were unable to understand that it was in my cart and that I had not paid for it, I was trying to remove it so that I did not have to pay for it.

     

    First thing this morning it was all still in the cart...then all of a sudden...everything was gone...while I was logged in.

     

    I will accept this gift from the twilight zone and be thankful. 🤣

Yesterday I was looking for it for our September cruise but couldn't seem to find it on the website. Then again, Mondays are terrible days to do anything on their website.

    I think it's in the Wine and Spirits section...at he end, after the wines.

    Edit to add…it appears my cart was cleared, so I added back the Balcony Dinner and water and purchsed. 
     

    Hope everyone else’s cart was also cleared so you can start over.

She called and spoke with 5 different Princess agents, none of whom even understood what she was asking (client can't remove item from cart, can you do it). She did finally speak to one who said "she can't see it on Princess' side" which didn't make me feel any better. She put in a trouble ticket to Princess but I don't expect that will help.

     

    It is such a simple basic task for online services--empty cart--and yet Princess can't make it work. (Note, I went and looked at the code behind the page and I can't find a place where a piece of code exists to respond to the button. But, if you look at the "book dining" option, there is code for the button push).

     

    This is the sort of thing that causes pax to say Princess is incompetent. But, at least they have managed to add fees/take away previously free options. No problems with that 😉

    I have a balcony dinner and a balcony breakfast and a case of water in my cart. We decided that there is jyst too much food with breakfast. I can doa big meal at the end of the day, but I’d rather not first thing in the morning.

     

    i guess I’ll have to buy it and then cancel on the ship and request refund to on board account.

    Ok, so I did confirm that the only Vista suites on Enchanted are the 6 rooms forward on deck 17. There are no aft facing Vista suites on this ship…even though they wouldn’t come right out and say it directly. They did give me the list of 6 rooms and they are forward on deck 17.

     

    So buyer beware if you bid on the “ Aft Facing Vista Suite” through the bidding process, they are nowhere near aft. They are forward deck 17.

     

    This is ok, just not correctly described.

    Not shown on the current deck plans as being an Aft facing. Or, is it an error on the UG bidding software?
     

    They just did a dry dock in April, so deck plans should be correct. But, who knows?

    If you have a TA/CVP I would have them investigate.  


    I think it must be an error on their side…here is the description listed:

     

    Vista Suite

    The Vista Suite features a spacious stateroom and aft-facing balcony.
     

    I also only see them shown forward on the deck plan. 
     

    I just want to know exactly what we are bidding on. 🤪

It has been our experience that if there is anything that you would like for breakfast, just let them know ahead of time, and if they have it on the ship, it will appear on your breakfast plate, We had a standing order for lobster and swiss omeletts with avacado slices on top. Every. Single. Day.
