Patti:
Thanks for proactively posting the coupons. That was so sweet of you!
On you most recent B2B2B Radiance Cruises ---
Do you happen to know whether folks were able to use the BOGO coupon for Giovanni's at lunch on the first day?
I'm also hoping they offer a wash and fold day for our October 22 cruise since it's an 11 nighter. It will save on some packing space.

Just returned from 3 weeks on board Radiance and had a wonderful time as usual. All Specialty Restaurants were quite busy the second and third weeks.
Had a very nice lunch in Giovanni's the last week with Clunis Daly, the Hotel Director, and found out that with the addition of Rita's and Izumi, plus the new round tables added between the WJ and the pool, the seating capacity has increased. I found it hard to believe, but I would never dispute the Hotel Director!:D I believe the number he through out was 276.
Rita's and Izumi offer seating during breakfast. On some days you can also have lunch in Izumi when they are not serving lunch. Rita's hours begin at 2 until 9:30 so folks are not able to take their lunch from the WJ and eat there. They can walk through to the aft section and utilize any vacant table there.
Patti:
Did they open any dining venues for lunch on embarkation day other than the WJ for Northbound AK?

The southbound on Radiance is what we were thinking too, probably August 30th. Going to book during the WOW sale next week. We get our first taste of Radiance this coming September when we take her to Hawaii. I hear she is a beauty. :)
If you are touring without an RCL cruise tour as we did, here's what we did:
We wanted the experience of the Alaska RR and took the Coastal Classic from Anchorage to Seward and then spent a few nights in Seward pre-cruise. We booked Goldstar service because we wanted the advantage of the dome car throughout the trip. Well worth the expense in our opinion. We also took one of the long boat tours on Resurrection Bay out of Seward. Fabulous tour!
If you are doing any hotel reservations on your own, book as early as you can to get the best prices. One front desk clerk was amazed at the rate I had. I explained that I booked as soon as the bookings opened.

This is the second time I've read your review. I think it will live on forever on these boards! Thanks for taking the time to post it. I only wish I could figure out how to post photos from Photobucket on these boards. Ugh!
Can you provide some more information on the Copper Whale B&B? I saw the pics, but there wasn't a lot of commentary.
Thanks in advance.

I just received an email from Fernando for my Adventure cruise next week.

Reshma is on vacation at the moment and a lady called Dina (from guest relations) is standing in.
Thanks for the reply. I just saw a scathing member review about Adventure (which BTW I took it with a grain of salt) but the poster loved Dina. I can't wait to meet her.

Any news regarding the current concierge for Adventure?

Yikes! What a whiner! I just want to go on record as saying I am not the "Marla" referred to in his web site.

Thanks so much for sharing the menus!! That was very kind of you to think of your fellow cruise critics so soon after returning home. I hope you had a wonderful cruise.
