  1. I just realized we will be on the Pride for dr suess day too! It’s a port day for us though, so do you think they would do all the dr suess stuff that day still or move it to sea day (Saturday )

  2. Dumb question. I booked a couples Swedish massage with this a couple of days ago. It only lists me as the guest and I didn’t see a place to put the name of the second person. I assume I’m all set, even though it only lists 1 person right?

  3.

Thanks, that’s all I can find as well. I was hoping someone has utilized it recently and has an idea. I’m just curious if it’s like an hour in the mornings and that’s it, or more like 3 two hour stretches throughout the day or something else entirely. Like I said, I’m a planner and would like to have an idea if it’s something we will even be able to take advantage of since we will not be doing the nighttime thing

  4. Babysitting is dependent on availability of crew. There's no hard and fast rule. You request an evening, and they let you know.

It says during the day from what I understand. That there are certain hours the kids club is closed, and during those times you can either utilize the paid babysitting service or else stay there with your child

  5. Hello,

We will be traveling on the pride in February with my 22 month old. I’m aware he cannot use camp ocean or the pool, but did see there are certain hours each day we can a) visit the club and play with him there or b) utilize a babysitting service they have there for a fee.

I have looked all over the internet/ cruise critic but can’t find anything with the hours. It all just says will vary based on ship/itinerary. Does anyone know the hours for this service on the pride currently (is it in the fun times)? Even approx hours would be helpful, we just want an idea of what to expect

    Thank you

  6. Will do for sure...

Just trying to figure out how to present it?

Its been a few years since we cruised.

Does Carnival send out some type of packet via USPS or Courier and if so how soon before the cruise.

I'm out of country one month prior to the cruise on business for 8 days and would hate like heck for her to find out that way? If they don't I want to reveal it after I get back, that would be April 8th and we fly to MIA on May 3rd.

We talked about new luggage as our luggage is old old.....and has seen many many miles....

I mentioned buying some new for my business trip and she thought thought was a good idea...

Buy the luggage and put a big picture of the cruise ship and a Happy Anniversary start packing sign after I get back?

I think the luggage is a good plan! Could even put it inside after you get home and find some excuse to have her open it (honey I’ve been packing for my business trip, can you check and seee if I put in my toiletry bag?) and have her find the announcement inside

This is really sweet and I hope she loves it! Let us know how the reveal goes

  7. I hope you get it back! I echo what others said, call and tell them right away and include any info you can (what room, where it was left, etc). Maybe they can catch up with your cabin steward and tell him/her to be on the lookout for it as they clean

  8. Yikes I think i'm just going to turn my phone off all together when i'm not taking pictures

Keep in mind that if you turn it back on to take pictures and it's not in airplane mode, you could receive texts/ voicemails from when it was off and get charged. That happened to me before... it said no service so I didn't bother to change things and then once we got closer to an island all the sudden it got service and texts/picture messages started coming in.

I would do as others suggested and put it on airplane mode as your ship leaves that first night. It's not worth it to me to risk screwing things up and have a huge phone bill to come back to. Plus it's always better to post pics AFTER a trip to people don't know you are away, but I'm sure you're already aware of that

  9. I am just now doing a bit of research for our upcoming cruise. Does the daily price quoted for cheers include the tip/tax or is that added in with your total. Just thinking that if it's ~$50 a day, but that already has the tip worked in, it's a good deal. But if the tip is not included in that, then it will require a little more thought
