Rather quiet in the WJ.

One of the simple joys of cruising. Having fried rice in the Windjammer, window seat!
By now, I think you may have realised that fried rice was my comfort food, though I must say that generally our tastes are rather Western. (Having taken the not-so-good Asian fare on the Voyager June sailing to China, I much prefer the non-Asian offerings)

Day 5 morning.
Looks rather empty!
-
Another view of Cleopatra's needle.

This was an awesome cruise.
Turns out coincidentally that we had the same Captain (Cpt Charles Tiege) and Cruise Director (Gordon Whatman) on both our June and Dec cruises.

Before I conclude Day 4, some pictures of Cleopatra needle taken that evening, after dinner.

Take note, the Adventure Dining. Kids get to eat for free at Johnny Rockets, seats are limited. Our kids didn't go for this, so I'm not sure how it was like and how many kids participated.
-
Activities to keep you busy, if you choose to be busy. Otherwise, just chill!
-
Page 2 of the cruise compass. The headliner show was a magician/illusionist. We watched him on the Voyager in June, not bad.
Take note the instructions for the Ice Show. On Day 1 or Day 2, we had already received the instructions on a separate sheet of paper. Due to the limited capacity of Studio B, they had to do the show five times during this cruise.

Day 5 - Relax before the Sounds!
-
Beautiful sunset from our aft balcony.
-
The classical guitarist performing outside the casino.
-
Cookie of the day. My kids loved this and had them every night. I find them way too sweet for my liking and the kids ought not to be taking such sweet stuff. Well, I understand that the recipies come from Miami but my feedback is to make them less sweet please.
-
Low fat French apple flan. We loved this!
-
Cream catalan
Chocolate hazlenut truffle tart
-
-
-
Scallop and mussel gratin.
Mixed grill.
Coq Au Vin - this was good!
-
Our waitress was a Ms Bernadette, an experienced Filipino who knew our needs very well. We gave her a Royal WoW card.

Omelette station. Rather popular.
