  1. Thanks for the information all! The link confirmed much of the info that I found at other websites and also my correspondence with her international student office on campus. Everything seems to be in order (I-20, I-94, passport, travel to approved country-Mexico, and approved islands-Jamaica, Grand Cayman). My main concern was her single entry visa has expired and is still usable because of the annual renewal of the I-20. However, it appears that this is a common situation for students and that the automatic visa revalidation occurs upon reentry. Still a cause to be nervous for someone as particular (neurotic) as myself!
  2. Greeting! This will be my seventh cruise but my first out of Galveston, first on a Vista class ship, and most importantly, my dear wife's FIRST CRUISE! She is from rural Thailand and getting her PhD here in Texas and a cruise will be a COMPLETELY new experience for her. From what I have read, it IS possible for international students to cruise out of the US as long as they have a proper set of documentation and the ports of call are on a pre-approved list (a travel "bubble" in the Caribbean). Do any cruisers have information on this process or have had a similar experience? I am hoping to make my wife's cruise a carefree and memorable adventure. Thanks.
