  1. I spoke to the Kids Club girls this morning

1 year old need to be accompanied by you all time..

If you go out of school Hols they will arrange the 3 x 2hr sessions that they do round the kids that are there.

Today there was one girl in glub and she had 2 hostesses to herself.

Pools is pretty well closed of outide rails have 2 foot solid steel on bottom of rails.

    There is childrens paddleing pool.

But never safe to leave them anywhere

    Steel steps ect.

With kids Lido self service best get one off the stewards to help if its just you and two kids.

Do not know how they would take 2 kids running round.

Buts its all pretty laid back.[/QUOT

Fantastic info everything I needed to know I knew it would only be my 3 yr load attending kids club sounds like she'll love it. You've definitely out my mind at ease about the railings etc round Pool will check out lido restaurant my husband and mother etc are going so I've plenty of helpers. Thanks again for taking the time to find out this information for me

  2. I would leave the Ashdod shuttle until later in the day. They will get everyone off the boat in the morning to go through passport control, most people think "we're off now so may as well wait for a shuttle" You will be waiting for ages if you do this and you're very limited as to where you can go in the port.

Thanks for all you replies you've been a great help I will probably do all you've suggested

  3. Great I will change done euros we are staying in turkey after the cruise so will have Turkish lira it's more I didn't want to have to change different amounts of different currencies and will carry my bank card also. Hoping the shuttle buses at Ashdod take euro ok thanks again for the helpful replies

  4. I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times over but does everyone visiting several different countries is Cyprus, Israel, Greece, turkey. How does everyone do there currency but before you go small amounts if each? On board? Through bank card? Just interested to know as only ever been cruising in euro countries which was pretty straight forward

  5. I've posted On a seperate thread also but if your onboard you can defo answer I've a few questions regarding kids I've a 3&1 yr old we are travelling in September

Is there many kids on board ie attending kids club etc?

Does the children's pool area look save I'm afraid in case one if the kids runs off on me is it all railings or solid at bottom then railings hope this makes sense?

Is there much kids entertainment on in general child friendly disco?

If you could answer any if these would be a great help

    Thanks

  6. Thanks off the reply I think thomson seem to charge £18 for a beach transfer so will cost us £50 in Cyprus to go to a beach mag just decide to stay onboard and make good use of a quieter ship. I see you have been on celebration before can you remember if the children's pool is enclosed or is it near open rails?

  7. Hoping someone can help me is the children's pool area well enclosed? I have travelled on the island escape and there was like a glass inclosure (no railings to be climbed) it's very hard to make it out in any pictures was just wanting to know if anyone has actually been onboard and can remember? All help much appreciated

  8. We are a family of 4.(3yr &1yr) Cruising on the celebration in September we plan on booking a few excursions but as you all know they can be pricey. Is there anything in Ashdod port or nearby to do even for a nice walk? And same with the larnaca port? Don't mind getting a taxi if it's not too far all suggestions welcome

  9. We have decided to stick with our cabin number 884 as my mum has also prebooked her cabin on the same level so she is close by to help out with the kids. Hoping our cabin isn't too bad as it seems in the middle hope this makes sense. Does anyone know is it us or European plugs I think our cabin has a bath also which will be brilliant with the kids anyone on here stayed in this cabin?

  10. I've booked our family holiday 2adults 2 kids will be aged 3 and 1 I have decided to stick with an inside cabin so it is dark for kids to sleep ( have cruised once before on island escape and stayed on deck 5 inside cabin and we were happy enough as got a lie in cos no light). This time we have been given deck 1 as this is we're the 4 berth inside cabins are my question is does it really matter what deck as to how bumpy etc the boat will feel? Or will it be fine? Also anyone had any experience with the kids club on board?
