  1. The Galley Breakfast. Tried The Wake and Razzle Dazzle as a walk in - Nope fully booked up. Croissant sandwich, Sausage Roll and Blueberry Pancakes. Note the power outlets included at the Galley table…
  2. So far, absolutely! I’d book VV again without a second thought depending on price/intinerary etc that suits us. I wish they had a ship in NY TBH so we could drive to port. No kids is fantastic & included food is good and better quality. The vibe is very laid back during the day and can get wild at night if you go to the parties etc but those are easily avoided if you’re not into it. Casino is on the small side but non smoking atmosphere is 1000% better however much worse for the wallet 😂 It’s been very non- judgmental. No scowls from fellow passengers if you’re not dressed in a tux for dinner or have shorts on at dinner. It’s refreshing not having a CD announcement or sales pitch all the time. Captain made announcement 1 time so far I think. So far, I do miss the way RC puts the venues at the top of each elevator and has the 3D ship model showing “you are here” on podiums throughout the ships. That would help with navigation confusion. The labeling of port and starboard side cabins A and Z is super easy to follow and better i think. Im still gathering experiences and thoughts etc but so far that’s how I’m feeling about it. PS I am sooo wishing this was an 8 nighter and not a 4 nighter ☹️
  3. The daily planner is readily available in paper format. They put it out at the grounds club to grab one.
  4. At the pool the crew sets up each spot every morning with the loungers and a towel. In between the 2 pools there a huge towel station that’s help yourself. No worries about checking out towels and wondering if you’re going to get some random charge for a pool towel not being returned.
  5. Random lounge spots…. No shortage of these. Lots of nooks & crannies on the ship. Not as open as I’m used to on RC. The different spaces feel very compartmentalized. It’s not a bad thing just different from what my normal had been.
  6. So to get sunrise pics I may or may not have broke into Richard’s Rooftop in order to get the pics😜 Depends who’s asking. I will deny it. 😂 Sunrise was full forward this morning and there not a way to get to the front of the ship like on RC’s helipad area on many of those ships. Richard’s Rooftop is the suites only area. There was another woman in there who tipped me off that access could be had pretty easily. Not a single person was in there so I figured I wasn’t hurting anything. I haven’t been sent to the brig yet. That’s a good sign. With all that here’s some illegal pics of Richard’s Rooftop
  7. Follow up re: Scarlet Night…we did end up missing the scarlet night pool party and after party. EV filled us up, long day. Food coma required rest. 😂 I’m not mad about it. 😀 We got part of the experience earlier in the evening. To see what it’s all about, I would have liked to see at least part of it but it just wasn’t happening. We are not dancing people but I think it may have been fun to hang out and people watch.
  8. Grabbing another coffee and wandering to get some pics before areas get crowded with people.
  9. Literally as I’m typing the chair hog post I get this notification on my phone… Bravo VV 👏🏼
  10. Today is a sea day. Probably pool deck for majority of the day is my guess. I’m not tied down to any plans. Thinking about Wake brunch. Pink Agave for dinner tonight.
  11. Casino time then…? Not sure we’ll make it to Scarlet Night after party been a long day and we’re already down 3 of the 6 in our group.
  12. Scarlet Night is fun with lots of stuff going on throughout the ship. We’ve missed most of the actual “shows” but they have random activities and decorations all over. Dancers took over social club. Jugglers juggling red LED lit balls in the coffee shop.
  13. Extra Virgin was good. Not great but good. We did apps as a family style. Tons of food! Meatballs were so good. NY Strip good but over seasoned with something with some heat. Gnocci came out barely warm. Meatballs and Sea Bass were my favs here. I’d say compared to RC Giovanni’s it’s about equal but again EV is included. So far VV is definitely beating royal on pretty much all food fronts IMO.
