We did the same on one if our booking. You can still use it all as OBC. You do not need to use it for an excursion if you do not want.

I forgot where the Meet and Greet will be for the 29 day cruise will be?

It took 5-6 weeks to get a renewal passport. I had to ask for my old one back because I needed it to go to South America.

Usually they do not send back the old one unless you ask for it back,

I need some help in deciding if Princess is the cruise line for me?

Price? Cabin? Itinerary? Like long cruises and need to know why People like Princess versus other cruise lines?

Love inside. Sleep better and rarely in cabin. Rather go on more cruises than spend money on a Ocean View, balcony etc. i have had Balcony cabins before and never used them. I like to socialize with others than stay in my cabin.

I do agree you will get inside if you booked inside and so forth. I guess I have been a little luckier in getting upgrades to ocean view and even balcony cabins the night before sailing. Princess has called and given us a complimentary upgrade. Not often but it does happen,

I booked a Gty inside on a Princess Cruise last year and it was sold out. We got upgraded to an ocean view. It does happen.

If all the lowest cabin price cabins have been sold and you have a gty booking for that category, how do I know if Princess will upgrade that category?

We too are hoping for the upgrade fairy on three of our cruises that we have booked inside gty. We have had one upgrade from aft to mid ship inside on the 20 day cruise in January 2015 on the Royal.

We booked an inside and have no problem without a window. Not in the cabin that much. Took a 49 day cruise inside cabin and was fine with it.
