On your app, go to preferences, click dining, and you can enter your allergies.  I have a son with good allergies and we always submit his allergies before we sail and then we straight to the main dining room and ask for the Maitre D as soon as we board to confirm they know about his food allergies.  They usually give him a menu for the first day or have us ask for the head waiter when we arrive to eat the first night.  Princess has always been great about accommodating my son.

We will be in St. Croix in January and I am looking for suggestions for a good beach, beer, food, and snorkeling.  I prefer to rent chairs and an umbrella too.  Either a short walk or taxi ride from the pier?

Ajtaylor29 I feel your pain and embarrassment.  The first time we took my two sons several years ago on a cruise with us, I grab my daughter’s passport by mistake,  instead of my wife’s.  My 18 y/o daughter was not with us. The check-in person didn’t even notice I gave him my daughters passport and not my wife’s.  My wife noticed it when he handed it back to me.  We were escorted to the special counter as my son cried thinking we were not going to be allowed to get on the ship.  Thankfully, I got a hold of a friend who went to our house, retrieved her birth certificate and faxed it to us at the terminal.  I still feel like a Dumb A— for making that mistake.  I now triple check before we leave on home for any cruise.

Several years ago on the Royal we had to check out beach towels because people were taking them and not returning them.

We sailed on the Regal in 2016 and the Royal in 2018 and they allowed shorts on the non- formal nights in the MDR.  I did see them ask an older man to change out of his shorts when he came in shorts on a formal night.

We are sailing with Princess

Thank you.  We need to find something for at least 4 hours.  The excursions are limited, but that will be last options.  I did find car rental rates dropped a little bit today.  I was able to reserve a car for $174. I do not know if we can get all our luggage in it, but I reserved one.   Hopefully, they continue to drop.

We have stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th and I saw signs offering cruise parking.  

We have a 3pm flight out of FLL after our Christmas Cruise out of Port Everglades.  Any suggestions for something to do for 4-5 hours for 4 of us with luggage in Fort Lauderdale?  Car rentals are outrageous right now or I would rent a car for the time.

With the ship sailing at 25%, there are not as many activities.  I think she is running with a smaller staff, too.  
One thing I love about her, she is EVERYWHERE!  She remains visible and engaged in all of the activities!

There is a Publix grocery store right outside the port off of 17th.  

Has anyone purchased or upgraded to the Princess Plus Package at check-in when they were boarding? I was going to upgrade to Princess Plus last week and when my cruise agent called they raised the price.  She called back and they raised it even more.  When I called customer service, they refused to talk to me about it.

I have done what you are asking before and I am doing it agin for my cruise in December.  When they register on the app, you just need to enter your credit card information for onboard  chargers.  It will also ask who’s name is on the credit card.

I had a similar question for specialty dining.  I did a chat with Princess and their rep said to go ahead and reserve and pay.  He said once I get onboard, I can get a refund and use my onboard specialty dining credit.  I printed out a copy of my chat to take with us on the cruise to support a refund.
