Thank you for taking the time out from your cruise to post. May I ask you a question please? Were you offered a package price for the thermal suite when you boarded? My husband wants to take a sauna every day and it sounds like there is no free one now. We are scheduled to take a world cruise with Princess. Thank you very much, enjoy the rest of your time!

Hello, We are not on your cruise, but we booked a restricted fare through Princess EZ Air and have been unable to get our seats assigned. I called the airline and they told me the seat assignment was blocked by the travel agent - EZAir, and that I couldn't pay for a seat either. We are flying LAX to Sydney, so we very much want to sort out our seats. May this be a warning to all, don't choose the restricted fare from Princess EZ Air... I am going to continue to call the airline and EZ Air because this seems ridiculous.

I am grateful to all for your suggestions and can see that absolutely everything will have to work in our favour to get onboard at Sydney! We cannot make a change without losing the entire amount for our tickets - $4000, so the itinerary will have to stay. We have the Platinum Plus insurance through Princess, which should reimburse us for cheaper hotel rooms until we board. I am not too stressed out because the cruise is long, so we do not mind missing the first few days.

Hello, Thanks for your message. We will be arriving early in the morning and assume we will have quite a wait until the bags can be checked in for the cruise. We arranged the Princess transfer to (hopefully) avoid dealing with our luggage all day.

Thanks for all the advice, it seems we booked non refundable tickets, so we are stuck with this timing. We will keep a positive attitude and hope for the best. We will be joining you on this fantastic long cruise sooner or later.

Hello, Now you have me thinking! It is my understanding that we will be taken to the next port of call to board if one of our flights booked through EZAir misses a connection. That would mean we arrive a day late. Am I wrong? We don't have the option to change our flights, but we can cancel and rebook if necessary. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the replies! Normally we would not arrange to fly in on the day of the cruise, but we decided to book through EZ Air to make sure Princess will get us to the next stop (Brisbane) if there is a problem with our arrival into Australia. I don't think it will be possible for us to leave the USA any earlier, so we have to keep our fingers crossed that all goes well. I agree, Sydney is a wonderful city, we were lucky enough to spend time there a few years ago and we loved it. Our cruise will return to Sydney, so we will not miss out.

Hello, We have booked tickets with Princess EZ Air and arrive from Los Angeles into Sydney airport at 7am. Our cruise leaves at 6.45pm that evening. We have also arranged transportation to the ship from the airport through Princess, but wonder what the timing will be? If anyone has done this before could you tell us what happens? Will we have to wait at the airport for hours? Thanks very much.
