We just got off the Sun and loved it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the new ships but lots of open space and a great crew. I don't have any children so I can't speak to those activities. We were on a 10 day cruise so it was a bit of an older crowd and not many kids but I am sure I 7 day will be much better.

We usually tip tour guides $10/person. And if we have a good room steward $40 for a week.

We are thinking the same thing. We are on on a 10 day on the Sun in February. We would need to eat at a specialty restaurant every day to breakeven. $199 for a 10 day and the same price for a 14 doesn't really seem fair.

I guess I don't mind eating in the MDR during my trip either. So a few nights at the specialty ones doesn't add up to $199.

The bread pudding with caramel sauce! 26 more days!

Also my favorite.....41 until 10 days on the Sun. This is great helps motivate me not to eat anything bad for the next 41 days so I can indulge...

Forgot to mention the Indian food on the buffet in the vegetarian section. Soooo good. On all three of our cruises the head chef has been Indian.

Sushi (all of it was good)

Blue Man Group Drink (Epic)

Any bread pudding with that to die for caramel sauce (really the bread pudding is just an avenue to have the caramel sauce)

Anyone back from the 10 day have the dailies to post?? Someone posted the 11 day but that goes to different ports and of course is one day longer. :D

Thanks for the nice review....the info about the spa is especially helpful and confirms we will be booking a suite with a hot tub when we go in 2014. We have been on three NCL cruises and LOVE the cruising experience especially the spa and sea days. I just need to keep in mind this is about Hawaii not cruising :)
