thanks texasmunk for that, but she likes the ones in the WINDJAMER

Does anyone know if there are still Pancakes and Waffles available on the Windjammer Buffet now she's sailing out of Southampton. I've heard that the food is very British now but my wife loves her 'American' Pancakes and Syrup. She will be devastated!:(

RCI might transfer it to another cruise otherwise you will have to claim on your insurance.
Â
Thanks, seems like its worth trying to transfer the booking to a later cruise if thats possible.

Thanks for all the feedback, unfortunately matters may have been taken out of our hands. We may not be able to travel in august due to serious illness of a family member (puts things in to perspective) :(
Any advice on our £600 deposit would be greatly appreciated.

I would normaly agree but these are a bit strong.

Hello all, just wondering is anyone else thinking about rebooking on another cruise having seen the reviews on EOS today (shocking)
-
On Anthem, the select drinks package included all beer/cider (draught and bottles) except for Fullers Vintage Ale. All wines by the glass up to $12. All sodas and non-alcoholic cocktails.
If you wanted a more expensive beer or wine, you only paid the difference in price.
Wine cocktails (like bellini, etc.) were also included (basically a glass of wine plus soda).
Â
It would be great if bellinis were included in the select package, wont raise my hopes though.

Yeah, drinks packages are usable for drinks in the specialty restaurants, provided your package includes them. Milkshakes in JR are extra as they are not on any package. And the S. Pelligrino sparkling water in Giovanni's was only free if you have premium or above that includes bottled water.
Â
The cover charges for specialty restaurants are:
Â
Giovanni's Table - $20 (15 for lunch)
Â
Chops Grille - $30
Â
Iszumi - no cover charge, but a-la-carte pricing, I.e. you pay for what you choose from the menu.
Â
Johnny Rockets - $4.95

Hi Nic
Giovannis looks tempting but not sure even I could tackle four courses & dessert. How would go about buying someone a drink at dinner, would you be able to take it from your drinks package or do you just sign and have it added to your bar tab?
-
The pictures look great. Is Giovannis open for lunch, and how much does it cost?

Hi
We are on Explorer in August and travelling with the in laws so there will be four of us. My wife is concerned about the WJ being very crowded on embarkation day. Is there any other restaurant open for lunch?
-
Hello all, just wondering if jonny rockets is still on the explorer, coz call me old fashoned i do enjoy a good berger :)
-
Thanks Nic for taking time out to answer so promptly, good to know you're not stopped! Great to see that with our select package we can have the odd glass or two (or three?!).
-
Hello everyone, thanks for the photos so far , great to see them. I am now a little bit concerned about the cost of the wine as we have a limit of $8 per glass on the drinks package we have and we noticed that the price at tavern is $9 per glass:cool:. one more thing , we are trying to track the ship but she seems to have stopped ????

OOOOPS just been corrected by my all knowing wife that we last cruised on the voyager of the seas NOT the legend sorry :p

Hi all , the last ice show i saw a couple of years ago was on legend, the tickets were available at the reception desk, they just appeared on the day of the show, my advice is to grab them quickly as they weren't there long.:)

Totally agree with you all. 'SHE' would like the waffles and pancakes as we can have a British breakfast any day of the week. We go away to have a treat now and then.
